What a gem! The owner Ika is a charming, friendly, welcoming man who really goes the extra mile for his guests. The wooden house is a beauty, with an eye for details (a record player!) and all amenities you need, including a stocked fridge (the nearest grocery shop, at least as far as we know, is a 45’ drive). Moreover you can order dinner and breakfast with the owner, definitely recommended. The view from the terrace is magic. The silence and the freshness of the air is quite unique. You need an SUV to get to the house, but if you get there, you will also manage to drive onwards for another 1h45 min to the upper Svaneti valley with the stunning UNESCO world heritage villages of Ushguli.

Mamuka is super helpful, speaks good English and will make sure you have a comfortable stay. The guesthouse is on the edge of the village, just below the church, and (after instructions of Mamuka) easily reached by car. There’s a kitchen for common use, which is great. The family also provides breakfast and dinner.

Everything was extremely good. The most delicious food we’ve tried on our way from Mestia to Ushguli. Very welcoming people and cool guard dog. Quiet place, very close to Ushguli, but not so touristy and messy. Cool common zone with a bar and a fireplace!

The hosts were incredible, they were very kind and always paying attention to our needs. They also helped us to arrange an outing with the horses to the glacier. The room in the property is authentic and is located in the middle of the village. If you stay there I highly recommend to have dinner and breakfast in the house as they will serve you real, home made svanetian food.

This place was wonderful! The room was small, but very warm and confy, just what we needed after 4 days of hike. There is also an nice common area. Good wifi, nice hot shower. Just in the middle of the towers, the location is great! The host are the best. All of them are very kind. The couple does not speak much english, but always smiling and being helpful. The daughter speaks very good english and can help you with any doubt. And the foood! It is a feast! Everything just delicious! We loved this place!

wonderful, welcoming host, magical location, peaceful , amazing mountain views , on the outskirts of town towards the mountains and glacier, but a quick stroll or drive into town when needed, very cute and clean cottage, in a large field with a couple of horses, an outdoor fires. We also went horse riding arranged through the host- to and from our door . Highly recommend!
