I recently stayed at hotel axien kazbegi for 1 night in April. The hotel's location was ideal for exploring the city, with several attractions within walking distance. My room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, offering a beautiful view of mkinvatsveri and gergety trinity church. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were exceptionally courteous and accommodating throughout my stay. While the rates were reasonable, the overall value exceeded my expectations. The entire hotel was meticulously clean, and I felt safe given the current circumstances. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at Hotel Axien and would highly recommend it to fellow travelers

In hindsight, I would have stayed a day less but that had...

In hindsight, I would have stayed a day less but that had nothing to do with Kazbegi but the place I stayed. After seeing Rooms Hotel and dining there, I could definitely stay there for a week and enjoy Kazbegi region. Also, if I go again, I'd probably rent a car in Tbilisi and drive there. Roads are OK without snow and the traffic is not bad at all. Spring and early autumn should be really good in Kazbegi. I liked the close by Sno Village a lot, lovely place.

We wanted a hotel with a Mountain View & Grand View was just perfect for that. We hiked up to the church early in the morning to take in the views of Kazbegi & rewarded ourselves with a delicious breakfast in town @ Tiba after - really recommend . Short & sweet trip !

Went there in July which gave us perfect 20°C and a hideaway from the extreme heat in the valleys. Absolutly wonderful views of the mountains around town. Lots of different treks from novice to expert. The town itself is a bit of a construction zone probably due to yearly spring floodings.

Absolutely stunning!

Absolutely stunning! The drive up is incredible with amazing views at every turn. Gergeti Trinity Church with Mount Kazbeg towering behind it was breathtaking - one of the most beautiful sights I've ever seen. Great hiking, fresh mountain air, and jaw-dropping scenery everywhere. Even with some clouds, the views were spectacular. Perfect day trip from Tbilisi despite the long drive.

The town is busy being on the Georgian Military Highway and...

The town is busy being on the Georgian Military Highway and lacks the charm of other towns. However, the beauty is in the absolutely gorgeous surrounding landscape and the hiking. Do the Trinity Church hike and drive to the Dariali Monastery Complex on the Russian border and have a nice lunch at the cafe.

One of the greatest locations for everybody who falls in love with mountains. Magician Kazbegi right before you. Some hotel rooms have this wonderful view. It is rather new hotel. It operates as family hotel - cozy and warmly welcoming. Great breakfast would be specially prepared for you. And in Georgia they know the best in eating - from the very morning till forever. Comfortable parking.

This is our second time at rooms hotel and its the best hotel in the area in terms of unobstructed views of the surrounding mountains. The breakfast spread is amazing but other meals are similar to what you would get in restaurants/hotels in the surrounding area. Has a lovely pool and sauna/gym which is an added bonus.

Hotel Axien was recommended to me by my friend and it has good value. also ,it has the best location and good prices. It is very close to the center, there are markets, pharmacies and banks around. Absolutely LOVED our stay here. The view was amazing - I stayed at Rooms hotel the night before and the view here was just as good. The cabin has everything you need - they even provided coffee capsules and very kindly brought us some wine! I think this must be the best place to stay in Kazbegi aside from Rooms.
