This is a full service hotel. The reception desk is manned day and night. There is a very good breakfast buffet with a large selection of food and beverages, and there is also a bar and a restaurant that serves snacks, lunch, and dinner. There is daily maid service. The beds are extremely comfortable and chair height, like American beds. The rooms are fully renovated, very clean, and a nice size. The pool area is attractive and has a pool bar. Every room is either poolside or has a balcony with a view. A lovely beach with amazing sea and mountain views is across the road and can be accessed by descending a cliffside stone stairway. From the hotel, it is an EU 5 taxi ride or a longer walkable distance to the city and port. We would stay at this hotel again.

Despite the fact that the reviews were bad, before I arrived - I changed my mind after staying here for 4 nights. The place is very traditional and although the pool was empty (due to a cleaning), I think that the hotel is in good condition, the rooms have a beautiful blue color, and it is clean. I want to mention that for the cheapest property on the island, I personally thought it was super ok for the price I paid.and related to the stuff, they seemed very kind, very nice and helped me with various information and some discounts. I wouldn't rank the hotel at all at 5 on booking - I would personally put it somewhere at 8 on booking.

Super polite , charming and helpful gentleman who looked after us and made everything so easy and welcoming. Went beyond the call of duty and offered to park our car for us and carried our bags in. He even left us wine and other things for our stay. We kept him waiting without realising he was waiting for us especially and he was so gracious and kind about it. The property itself is immaculate, clean, well appointed, in a wonderful location and feels like a little home. The shower pressure and temperature was also excellent. 10/10

This place is by far one of the best we have been to, and we travel a lot, From US, Canada, Greece etc.. The property owner is very polite and helpful. The property is exceptionally clean and really well equipped. Everything was new and higher end. Beds are very comfortable. Location is excellent. We will most definitely come here again! Excellent value for budget accommodation. Studio apartment had a spacious bedroom, en suite shower and a small kitchenette with a good-sized fridge. The balcony overlooks the garden and has a view of the Temple of Apollo, which was lovely. The owner is very friendly and has heaps of good suggestions for sites of interest, restaurants, books and more. Great location just a few minutes from the Temple of Apollo and both Avra and Kolona beaches. It is walking distance from Aegina harbour (although Google maps did mess me around a bit, telling me to turn left AFTER Ulrika Hotel instead of before. I backtracked and soon found a sign pointing to Kalokenti)

We stayed in the very comfortable harbor area of Aegina Town...

We stayed in the very comfortable harbor area of Aegina Town. Just a 40-minute ferry from Athens' Pireaus port. Ancient sites to visit. Lots of harbor restaurants for beverages and dining. A relaxing way to settle in from international travel before our extended tour of Athens and the Peloponnese tour. Would have been a great wind-down stay afterward too.

Great city with very nice and inviting streets to browse...

Great city with very nice and inviting streets to browse around, shop, lunch/dinner places. Aegina has also a very pittoresk port area with lots of opportunities having a drink and enjoying the view to the fishing boats and yachts. Aegina Stadt is also a great place to start excursions by scooter, car or by feet.

The water front is much the same as many port town island...

The water front is much the same as many port town island fronts. Vibrant and lively with restaurants, bars and cocktail/ice-cream parlours. The large marinas are full of small fishing boats, large fishing boats, flotilla holiday yachts, luxury yachts and flying dolphins. Aegina is the home to the best pistachio nuts in the world and they are on sale everywhere, that and local honey. One street back from the front is where the gift shops are and more restaurants. In theory the back streets are pedestrianised, but scooters wizz through them, so take care, particularly at intersections, they don't slow down. At the far end of the port there is a large orthodox churches that is so beautiful, don't miss it.

Pretty port a 40 minute fast ferry from Piraeus. Some nice shops and restaurants. Taxis available for trips around the island. We went to a serviced beach at Marathonas B - great for swimming and €12 to get to in a taxi or get an (infrequent) bus.

So much delicious food to choose from and lovely quiet port. Great spot if you want to relax. Everything is in walking distance and best spot for taxis around the island as well as boats for trips to nearby islands.

A colorful and vibrant island, with beautiful shops and excellent restaurants. Like everywhere in Greece, the locals are friendly, and the atmosphere is wonderful. When booking the ferry, pay attention—there are two ports on the island: one is the main port, and the other is secondary. The main port brings you closer to the livelier, more touristy area. In any case, even if you arrive at the other port by mistake, you can easily take a taxi or a bus to the other side of the island.

spotlessly clean; charming and friendly staff (including the cleaners), helpful and willing, excellent varied breakfast, and lovely affordable salads for lunch. Beautiful riot of colourful flowers/shrubs around the hotel - bougainvillea, plumbago, hibiscus, etc - and scanted pine. Good swimming pool, and the added bonus of a short walk from the front gate down to a little beach for a swim in the sea. A nice mile walk down to Aegina town, with its shops, restaurants, and yachts in the harbour. Clientele civilised and courteous.

Beautiful solid stone house with functional traditional decor - lovely house, super cozy courtyard, amazing view from our balcony. Fantastic breakfast made by the landlady herself every morning, with flexible timing according to our preference. She baked pies and bread, and there were eggs, fresh juice, etc. It was situated on a height above other nearby houses. Very close to the port in Aegina town with an excellent location.

Great location , exceptional and so des ready host Nectaria has taken care on every little details putting the place together!! On foot you can reach the rocky beach for a swim or on short car ride to Aegina town . Quite , beautiful terrace views and sunset to enjoy

The hotel is close enough to the town, a 10 minute walk, you can walk this along the beach area. The staff are super friendly, there is no lift in the hotel but they are more than willing to help take the luggage up and down. Was a nice room with a little balcony.

Ulrika is perfectly located in Aegina town, close to the port but also to the beach. Our room was lovely and fully equipped, with a nice sea view and a balcony. The bed was really comfortable and the staff amazingly welcoming. We totally recommand !
