The family are fantastic from the warm welcome, information and out of this world home made breakfast. Stella is up at 5.30am to get things ready with freshly made pastries, cakes, souffle and home made bread. The place is spotlessly clean and friendliness exudes. Cannot recommend highly enough.

very easy - met the host at the port and followed them to the apartment. Host is super friendly and an awesome knowledgebase of where to go and where to eat. Apartment is in a nice quiet area with a great view to agia pelagia beach. Comfy beds, and the room was getting cleaned daily which is just amazing. All windows have mosquite net which come in very usefull and the ac helps on the super hot days. Parking right outside the apartment.Thank you and will definately be back.

The apartment was so big and had 2 bedrooms, big kitchen and living room. The space in the apartment gave you the feeling we were in a big house and not an apartment. The kitchen had everything of the utensils and was very spacious We even had 2 balconies looking over Agia Pelagia beach as it was just 100 meters from the main area where the beaches and shops are. The cleaning of the apartment was done everyday and it was all so fresh and clean, smell nice the towels and bed sheets. The girl in the reception was very helpful and she was always there for us. I definitely go back again and stay when I’m in Kithira. I recommend this property very much

We love Agia Pelagia and stay here each time we come to Kythera. There are loads of restaurants to eat at, we can swim here and it is the perfect place to base yourself as you will need to drive around Kythera to visit the sights/beaches/towns. It is my 4th time visiting and we’ll be back to stay at Romantica.

The perfect beach side holiday for those wanting to avoid hordes of tourists. Lots of options for eating out and all within easy walking distance. Plenty of nice beaches and a friendly, relaxing vibe everywhere we went. So many other attractions on the island that it's worth hiring a car - easy drive from Pelagia to Potamos, Kapsali and other beautiful locations on the island.

We fell in love with the island and could have stayed much longer. So much natural beauty, wonderful beaches, charming villages, great tavernas. We did a lot of swimming in the sea, so many beaches to choose from (we liked Loukidimis Paleopolis and Fourni especially). Swimming in the grotto at Avelamos was another highlight. Also enjoyed just driving through the countryside and stoping in town squares along the way to eat and explore shops. Mylopotomas was our favorite village, eat at the taverna in the center of town. Enchanting. The view from the castle in Chora is spectacular. We appreciated that the island was not over run by tourists. Our accommodations at Castri Village were so comfortable and the hosts were very kind and helpful. It was so easy to walk down to the village and enjoy. We ate every night on the beach in Agia Pelagia. Amazing ambiance, food and hospitality.

We really liked the place, of course we wanted to visit the other parts of Kythira so we didn't stay in Agia Pelagia for long. For someone who just wants a quiet place and an ok beach at their feet it is ideal. But I think there are better places in Kythira to stay.

It is a quiet settlement that is ideal for relaxing holidays, without the hustle and bustle of tourism. Agia Pelagia itself has a beach with fine pebbles and clear waters, suitable for families and couples. Other beaches such as Logothetianika and Livadi are also nearby.

We really enjoyed Kythira.

We really enjoyed Kythira. We especially loved the many beautiful beaches. We were there at the beginning of October, and all the sun loungers and parasols had been taken down, so we could enjoy the beaches in all their glory. Agia Pelagia is a great base for many excursions. Plenty of tavernas were still open right up until the end of our stay.

Spacious, comfortable and clean rooms. Nice bed. Amazing view. Swimming pools clean and quiet. Quiet surroundings. Great location nearby a few restaurants (not the best food I’ve had in Greece though) and shops. Real island feeling. The sea on this side of the island has many waves during August’s meltemi but my daughter loved it. Super friendly staff, including the cleaning and maintenance staff (some of them Indonesian like me, hope they are being treated well).
