Everything. This is our second time on Leros and our second time staying at Saraya. If we go back to Leros (which we will because it is our favourite island!), without a question, we would stay at Saraya again. Staff are very friendly, understanding, and accommodating. They know Leros very well, as they are all locals, and they provide fun suggestions for things to do on the island. They also go above and beyond to help you out if your plans are disrupted for some reason - for example, due to weather conditions our boat out was cancelled and we stayed an extra day without a problem. The hotel itself is excellent too, with an amazing, large pool and a cafe/bar that's open long hours. Also, the beach/bay it's located at, Alinda, has been our favourite beach overall, both for swimming and for vibes, and we did get around the island quite a bit. The hotel is at a walkable distance to restaurants at Alinda as well! Overall, can't wait for our next stay there!

I think it is the nicest bay and the best beach in Leros and...

I think it is the nicest bay and the best beach in Leros and one of the best in the Dodecanese. However, here are some things to know: the beach is very long and very narrow, it has small pebbles and no sand; families with children must also know that, like in many places along the Aegean, the water becomes deep after a few steps. It is a wonderful place to swim!

The Alinda Hotel and its accompanying taberna are the center...

The Alinda Hotel and its accompanying taberna are the center of most nighttime activity on Leros. Three nights a week there is wonderful live Greek music and dancing: a typical Greek experience by Greeks!

Alinda is, like the rest of Leros, not very interesting for...

Alinda is, like the rest of Leros, not very interesting for travellers. The beaches are of mediocre quality at best and walking/hiking/taking a stroll is more often than not a hazardous operation, due to the narrow streets and roads without a trace of sidewalks. The quality of restaurants and bars varies but is on the whole good enough.

Alinda is located at the far end away from the ferry port...

Alinda is located at the far end away from the ferry port town of Agia Marina. It’s nice and quiet with very little traffic. It’s more traditional than touristy. There are many choices for walks…both challenging and easy. Several tavernas were open even though it was off season. Lovely people! If you want to go further afield on Leros there are car hire places at Alinda. The buses didn’t run off season but they are pretty good during the season. Don’t miss the patisserie at Agia Marina…and it’s a good walk too.

It's a quiet bay, and the sea is magnificent.

It's a quiet bay, and the sea is magnificent. The coastline is narrow. There are many taverns, and you could eat somewhere different every evening. There are also markets and a few small boutiques for small necessities. If you call a taxi, it arrives within 10 minutes at most, and you can get everywhere within 10-15 minutes. There are public transportation schedules, but I haven't encountered any.

Alinda is a very convenient location on the island, offering many services, a beautiful beach, and for those who love walking, there is a long walk along the seafront to Agia Marina and Dio Liskaria. Areas further inland are also easily accessible.

The superior apartment was immaculately clean and spacious. Francesca was very informative and helped us with directions. The location is perfect 30 metres from the beach front with lots of restaurants to choose from. I have already recommended this place to my friends. Leros is a beautiful, unspoilt island, and i hope it remains this way.

The apartment is located between Agia Marina and Alinda, few meters from a small but lovely beach. It’s very convenient and spotless clean, it was cleaned every day. The bathroom is quite small and could be upgraded, but a part from that everything else was great.

Quiet place by the sea where it has its own beach. The beach and the sea was very beautiful and quiet. Perfect location to rest and enjoy the calmness. Hotel itself was decorated nicely with turquoise blue, room had en-suite shower, and had a nice balcony.
