EVERYTHING! We got the warmest of welcomes from our host Babis and were WOWED as soon as we walked onto the terrace. The view is spectacular. The apartment, newly finished, is beautiful - it had everything we needed and more. We had a wonderful stay. Babis and his family made our stay truly memorable - we cannot thank them enough.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The view was absolutely stunning and created the perfect backdrop for a relaxing vacation. The staff were kind and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. We stayed here for 6 nights as a family of 4 , 2 adults and 2 children. Alonnosis is an incredibly beautiful and peaceful island and Old Village Villas were the perfect base from which to explore it. The house was very spacious, spotlessly clean and comfortable and full of character. There are 2 terraces on which to relax and enjoy the gorgeous views. It is a a few minutes walk from the old village where there are some lovely little shops and restaurants and also a short drive (or could also walk if you don't mind hills!) from a beautiful beach, Megalos Mourtias. The host was very friendly and helpful. There was water, juice, homemade marmalade and wine in the fridge when we arrived which was a lovely touch. Beds were very comfortable and everything worked perfectly. We hope to return again.

The island is beautiful, very green, wonderful beaches. The village is super cute and overall it is a fantastic place with loads of history. Would definitely recommend it for people who wish to have a peaceful, easy going and relaxing holiday! Ideal for couples and families. Some of the restaurants could use an upgrade on the menu. Traditional greek food has a lot more to offer than the standard menu most restaurants offer in the island.

We loved the old town and the beaches were gorgeous.

We loved the old town and the beaches were gorgeous. The amazing smell of the wild fig trees was amazing as you drove around the island. We were only disappointed with the port town of Patitri which was a bit rundown. We felt 2 nights in Alonnisos is perfect. Stay in old town and there are a couple of great restaurants and an amazing piano bar for after dinner - so fun. Great spots to sit and have drinks in the center as well.

A small array of shops in the daytime very quite one supermarket a 5 minute walk away from the hotel at night the town comes alive and is very pretty with enough places to eat and drink with stunning views try Thea restaurant which has great food and the most spectacular views remember to book in advance as it is very popular

Very pretty, hilly & compact with great views and lovely squares to sit and relax with a drink. Wonderful gelato place and a few quite good shops though you really need to go to Skopelos or Skiathos for anything more sophisticated. We were there in mid June and it was fairly busy but could I imagine get a bit packed in the peak of summer. There are a couple of beautiful churches with ancient ikons and there is a small museum which may be open by now for the season, it's up near the Kastro restaurant. This village was still pretty much in ruins when I last visited 40 years ago and the restoration is wonderful. Lovely hiking routes from the village.

Alonissos is not so popular like the other islands around...

Alonissos is not so popular like the other islands around but also not underdeveloped. You will find there nice restaurants, old towns/villages, sandy and stones beaches and beautiful sea. We found one week relatively long in case you are interested in the active holidays otherwise it is a perfect location for relaxing and enjoying the beaches.

Since I love ferry rides, the adventure began the minute I boarded the ferry, which left from Volos and stopped at 2 other islands, including the "Mama Mia" island. Alonissos was the final stop and worth the extra 40 minutes. Not a desert island with crowded beaches, Alonissos has loads of greenery and forests along with crystal clear aqua beaches, both sand and rock, surrounded by rock formations. Glorious! You do need a car or scooter to get around because it is a big island and mountainous. Amazing views every curve of the road! Choose a beach front or a mountain top hotel, according to your preference. Lots to see and do. Great bakeries, coffee spots and tavernas. We loved it! Skip Mykonos and come to Alonissos for a fraction of the price.

Very cool, modern and beautifully presented accommodation in fabulous location just outside old town. Everything was super clean, stylish and good quality. Breakfasts were amazing. Staff were fab and very informative - especially the lovely lady who served breakfast. Drinks brought to your room, information provided about the area, what to do etc. Our shower wasn’t working very well, they moved us immediately to an upgraded room. I would definitely recommend.

Perfect location with a breathtaking view of the island, the sea and the stars! A beautiful and cosy terrace and very uniquely decorated, traditional appartments! Not least, the best hostess ever!!! She gave our company (we were 3 friends with our partners) a lot of tips about the island (Eleni you should write that tourist guide to Alonissos one day)!!Thank you so much for everything! Don't miss staying at Eleni's place! A real jewel in Chora! :)

Stunning apartment within Villa. Wonderful views over the sea. We loved the decor and the space within the accommodation. All needs catered for. The pool was wonderful and lots of different places to sit or lie. Loved the gardens and the beautiful plants. Washing machine was a much needed bonus. We loved the 7am sunrises with “Costas” the cockerel 🐓

We had the most wonderful stay - this hotel really has the wow factor! Beyond amazing views, delicious breakfast (and very accommodating for dietary requirements) and lovely room! The staff were so friendly and helpful, cannot fault the service. We will most definitely staying here next time we visit alonissos !
