Fantastic location, very clean and spacious. Well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Very generous host who had fruit and sweets waiting for us as well as milk water and juices in the fridge-hospitality first get better than this. Beach umbrellas were also made available ☺️

The host is very kind and lovely lady ! She gave us the best advices for places to visit and eat that made our stay unforgettable ! Thw property is very lovely and clean , quiet and 5 mins walking to the center. The sea view is beautiful and charming !

Once more a wonderful stay at Makis! We enjoyed the stunning views! The room was clean and there were also some interesting changes in the kitchen, the bathroom and the bedroom. New, comfortable beds and mattresses (perfect for me that I have back issues). The new lounge by the Reception was a cosy corner to enjoy a beer and relax.

Location was great... unit was one level above the street with a decent balcony for all of us to sit around the table. Bedrooms were a good size with closets and walkout french doors to the balcony with shutters. One block to the pier and all the shops, restaurants etc. you would expect. Super market very close by along with bakery, coffee shops and even a local bar. SUPER nice host!

    It is so pretty, still has it's traditional Greek charm.

    It is so pretty, still has it's traditional Greek charm. Great restaurants and lovely beach for snorkelling on the way to Paradise Restaurant. Sea crystal clear and warm. We visited here 34 years ago and yes it has changed but not too much and did not disappoint. Could have stayed for months! The locals were very welcoming. Can't wait to return.

    I made a lot of research before choosing where to stay in Kefalonia. I think it it the best location. the distances to the main beaches are short. it is absolutely amazing the entire island. family and pet friendly. amazing small beaches as well. good food.

    Ayia Evfimia is a small port town.

    Ayia Evfimia is a small port town. It has some lovely little beaches which offer good snorkelling. The bars and restaurants are good quality and the people very friendly. It was pleasant to walk along the sea front in the evenings. It's a good base to visit other beaches and towns (you need a car). I managed to find a quiet road to run in the early morning, but it's all uphill!

    Wonderfully furnished property, providing everything you...

    Wonderfully furnished property, providing everything you need for a relaxing stay. Offers peace and comfort away from crowded places. Almost daily we visited the nearby traditional tavernas, offering delicious, local cuisine. Probably is good to be with own or rented car in order to be more flexible in transport over the island.

    We liked that it was close to Myrtos beach and also...

    We liked that it was close to Myrtos beach and also Antisamos beach. What we did not lile was the neighborhood since it was too quiet at night. Next time we would prefer somewhere in Fiskardo, Argostoli or around Argostoli.

    Lovely little resort. Just what we were looking for. Small and fairly quiet but lots of lovely restaurants and a few bars. Not too busy. Perfect for us. The only down side was the nearest beaches were very small and not really great. We had to go into Sami twice to find a good beach with sunbeds.

    This accommodation is a solid two star hotel. The major pluses for me were that the staff were friendly and happy to help. The hotel was clean, and there were areas of the hotel's original 70's furniture and features still visible. There was also, as noted by another reviewer, 'an unexpectedly good breakfast'. The location was good, with the best restaurant in the village next door, and just short walk to the harbour, shops and other restaurants. I would stay here again.

    Everything, comfortable room, very friendly staff that spoke a little Portuguese, I was very happy. I like Greece so much that I want to learn some Greek :) Great location, chairs and umbrellas available every day, great view from the room, everything perfect. We loved the little gift, we love olive oil. When I return to Kefalonia I would stay at Stamoulis again, I highly recommend it! Many thanks!

    Quiet location but studio was spacious with two balconies and there was access to swimming pool at all times. We liked being out of the town, but at the same time it meant a longer walk to get to some of the locations in Agia Efimia. Owner/staff were very helpful and there whenever we needed. There were some basic foodstuffs in the fridge on arrival which were very awelcome.

    Very comfortable. All bedrooms en-suite and A/C throughout. Great pool and views from the balconies. Everything has been thought of by the very friendly and helpful hosts Maris and Dionysis. Situated close to the port of Agia Effemia and all that the North of Kefalonia has to offer.
