The best hotel we’ve stayed at. Absolutely incredible. If I could give them 10 stars, I would. Already thinking about our next trip at Canale. The hotel is beautiful and clean but the staff is what truly sets Canale apart from every other luxury 5 star hotel. The staff is absolutely incredible; kind, knowledgeable and always ready to help. We were pleasantly surprised from the moment we arrived. The hotel is spotless, the rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, and cleaned daily. We were lucky to receive an upgrade from our host, Anastasia, who is absolutely wonderful! We stayed in a huge room with a gigantic and very comfortable bed – we especially appreciated the Coco Mat mattress. She also kindly arranged a late check-out for us, which we were very grateful for. The hotel is located right on the beachfront. I believe it has around 11 rooms, most of them offering stunning sea views. The sandy beach is literally in front of the hotel – small but with a few sunbeds and umbrellas. There’s also a good restaurant right next to the hotel. Lixouri is a small, charming village with a relaxed and authentic vibe. It’s not overcrowded with tourists, which was a big plus for us. All the restaurants are just a short walk away, and the ferry to Argostoli (the island’s capital) is very close, running every 30 minutes.

The property was in a great location, it was clean, filled with light, good facilities, included breakfast was lovely and the staff were so friendly. Albert even drove us 45 minutes to Sami ferry port because we were in a bind with taxis and sat and had coffee with us while we waited for our ferry.
