There are places where you choose to stay just because it helps you to fulfill other objectives (in this case visiting Diakopto-Kalavrita canion), but you remain surpised by how good those places are. This is the case of Panoramic Hotel. Everything was above expectations: The rooms were very nice and clean., the view from the balcony is beautiful, the terrace under the trees is nice and cozy and especially how the staff is treating people is amazing. Thank you Katerina for all the help in booking the canion trip.

Lovely hostess who greeted us on site. Very modern and clean. Great washing machine and stove/oven. Big fridge and freezer. There were some welcoming goodies plus coffee, sugar, milk, S&P, vinegar, oil. Very comfortable. Close to the railway yo go to Kalavrita through Vouraikos Gorge, and short walk to the beach.

The place is not to heavy on tourists, they and we mainly come for the Vouraiko train (must see!). It would have been great to have known upfront that the seats on the train are not many so booking is necessary.

The place to catch the railway up the mountains to Kalavryta...

The place to catch the railway up the mountains to Kalavryta. It also has a limited rail service to Athens and is close the the main Pelopponees motorway. It is very much off the tourist map and the town offers little in the way of attractions. It is however ideal for those wishing a quiet stay. Not a place to entertain children.

It was a quiet clean venue with close by restaurant facilities near to the beach. We were out of season and it only opened at weekends. The main tourist attraction of the rack railway was not operating due to a land slide blocking the line.

What a lovely stay! Beautiful location and view from the room. Quiet, with a terrific restaurant. It's a wonderful family-run hotel and the staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially Jessica who was so helpful and cheery. She also makes incredible homemade ice cream cake - I think she'd just made it for her family and friends, but when we admired it, they cut all four of us pieces of it to eat on the terrace overlooking the sea. Seriously, you don't get that from your chain hotels.

Very good standard of room. Delicious tast of everything, starting from breakfast and all dishes we have tried. Beach with umbrellas and sunbeds between restaurant and the beach (can't be closer). Polite and friendly stuff, especially Kostantinos, who meat you always with a smile and was fixed anything asked (in our case transport from Diakopto,,luggage trouble...)

The property is conveniently located close to the sea, the room was small, but it was clean, stylish and had everything we needed. We got the key from a locked box and never met the owner, but she was very helpful and responsive to messages. Bonus: the little tavern right next to the hotel.

Great location for visiting the rack and pin railway. Our apartment was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Modern bathroom with lovely toiletries. Just a minute walk away is a nice beach and some good tavernas. The hotel pool looked very inviting.
