One of the most amazing places.

One of the most amazing places. Beaches are wide and long with lot of place for finding a secluded corner just for yourself, sea is warm and beautiful with alluring colours and views are breathtaking. We loved Kato Nissi beach and Lefki and enjoyed snorkelling over ancient Pavlipetra city. The village of Elafonisos is vivid with lot of tavernas and places for enjoyable evenings. Perfect holiday spot. Anywhere you sit you’ll get good food and good service. Moving around the island is easy, but you’ll need a car. Getting to Elafonisos is also easy with ferries going from Pounta every 30 minutes with costs of 16 EUR for 2 adults and a vehicle.

Ideal place for a short (3-4 days) holiday. Beautiful beaches (although when it is windy there are waves), and lots of tavernas and fish restaurants in the port. To get there is a 4.5 hours drive from Athens to Pounta, and a 15 mins ferry ride from Pounta to Elafonisos with several ferries crossing every 30 mins. Small Simos beach is the best, and you can find very spaceous umbrellas but pricey (50-60 euros for 3 persons)

We just returned from another wonderful 9-day trip to Elafonisos — a place we visit every year and never get tired of. The island remains one of Greece’s true hidden gems, with incredible beaches like Simos and Panagia, crystal-clear waters, and a peaceful, authentic atmosphere. We always make a point to visit outside the peak months of July and August, when the island is quieter and even more enjoyable. Everything is within easy reach — great tavernas, cafés, and small shops — and the pace of life is exactly what we need to unwind. Even after so many visits, Elafonisos continues to be our go-to destination for a relaxing and refreshing escape.

Elafonisos is a quaint island with a nice selectin of shops, local artists, great restaurants, and several beautiful beaches. We spent most of our two full days at Simi Beach during the day and in the little town in the morning and evening, but I wish we had stayed two more days and spent more time at the other beaches. I would have also liked to drive around the entire island to see it, which w will definitely do next time. Definitely worth seeing!

A very chill island with crystal clear waters! Lovely for families and all. Our favourite beach is Agia Panaia. Having a car on the island was great to travel out to Simos, great water activities there. We found most eateries lovely.

If you are looking for a hotel that is within walking distance of a beautiful beach, you are in the right place. The hotel is peaceful, surrounded by nature, with a view of the dunes and the sea in the distance. At night, you can hear the waves and sleep with the windows open. There is mosquito protection for the balcony doors, although it's slightly damaged. The breakfast is delicious, with a wide variety of tasty treats and fresh egg dishes. It feels more like a vacation on a country estate than a hotel stay. We really enjoyed it.

The hotel is an absolute heaven. Chris, the host makes everyone feel that they are not only welcome but they are special. The rooms and overall the hotel is very clean with an absolutely wonderful surroundings, trees, playgrounds and the most amazing views of the sea.
