I very rarely give 10/10 marks but this was the perfect stay for us. The villa was immaculate yet cosy, it had all the facilities you'd need. The location was great about 10 minutes from a major road but remote enough to be peaceful. There were also little shops near by like a mini supermarket, butchers, coffee shop etc. The pool was beautiful and very well looked after and the surrounding area was serene clean and comfy. You will definitely need a car if you stay here but it was central to ever where basically equidistant to Chania and Heraklion but with the beautiful Rethymno on your door step. Most importantly Christos and Vicky were friendly, and responsive. They take great pride in the villa (as they should) and they make you feel so welcome. Were welcomed by some beautiful homemade cretan pastries as well as other goodies. They also provided lovely restraunt recommendations. We have already been recommending the house to our friends and we will be back!

The staff, hospitality, food and atmosphere were exceptional. Spa facilities and services provided, massages, were outstanding. The food buffet had everything you could imagine and more. Everything was great! The food was very tasty, the garden of the hotel very beautiful, the rooms were cleaned every day, and the view from the balcony.. I can still see when I close my eyes. We loved everything about Kapsaliana Village Hotel - it’s absolutely stunningly restored and a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the surroundings, the pool etc . The staff were all very welcoming, friendly and efficient. The restaurant served delicious food and wine and the breakfast was exceptional ! We also very much enjoyed a visit to Arkadi monastery and the hike back to the hotel . We can’t wait to go back to Kapsaliana !!

Fantastic location. Staff were incredible. The 3 pools and outdoor sun beds were amazing. Rooftop pool and bar were perfect in the day and evening for a sun set drink. Rooms and Beds / Cocktails / Evening entertainment and buffet were amazing , something different everyday. Highly recommend!!
