We have loved our stay at the Sunset Villa, the location is perfect just 5 min away from the beautiful Falasarna beach, we have explored the secret beach near by which was exciting for the kids! The place is a perfect mixture of the modern comfort with the traditional touches found in the interior, the place has everything you need for having a relaxed holiday, it felt like being in the hotel, very comfortable, the pictures on the website does not do enough justice how beautiful the place is :) we have loved our mornings on the patio listening to the birds and welcoming the day. The sunset is special you can watch every evening along with the beautiful stars once its dark! If you travel with the car, this is the perfect base, we did explore different beaches but Falarsarna beach has stayed our favourite and we felt like a privileage getting there just coming down! Thank you for everything!

Air-conditioning and wifi at the maximum strength. But nothing counted more, than the kindness and good energy of the hosts. The relaxed atmosphere and the lovely apartment at Falassarna beach studio apartments. Excellent breakfast served in the courtyard overlooking the beach. The apartment was spotlessly clean with stunning views from the balcony. Plenty of tavernas nearby serving great food. A lovely beach within walking distance and Big beach a few mins drive away. We recommend having a car. Also walk up to Ancient Falassarna historical site. It is a 20 min walk and well worth it

It’s a paradise, with beautiful views, very calm place, crystal clean water suitable also for families with kids, and great home food in local taverns. If you are looking for romantic stay or peaceful relaxing time, you need some rest after hard work during the year, t’s for you.Don’t expect night clubs , bustling streets or shopping centres..But you can have a great drink with the most beautiful sunset in the local Blue orange pub.There’s also many possibilities of hotels or villas for example Falassarna beach, Falassarna bay, Hotel Plakures or luxury villas . People are very friendly and hospitable. I highly recommend to rent a car if you go there, then you can go for trips to the nearly village Sfinari or famous Elafonissi or Chania.Enjoy!

I take it as one of the most beautiful beaches.

I take it as one of the most beautiful beaches. Beautiful sunsets. Clear transparent sea. Turquoise colours melting into the big blue. Golden sand with shades of red when sea allows it, bringing it with waves at certain times, we were lucky to witness it. In the mornings when there's almost no one around you can enjoy in the soft waves covering the san, tranquil sea sounds and sun coming on top of the mountains.

Very nice beach with the clearest water. Large space for sunbeds and even larger free zone. Many taverns and bars near the beach with amazing view, Spilios stood out with very good food and prices.

A refreshing break from the full on holiday park of the North Coast We only stayed a couple of days so little time to explore but would return to this area if in Crete again. Lovely welcome with spinach pastry and a cake, thank you! The location is great for exploring the western side of Crete. The property was very clean, spacious and comfortable. During the stay we were able to communicate with Stella via WhatsApp, which was very helpful. She also shared restaurant options that were open, which was helpful very early in the tourist season. We highly recommend the captain Nicolas restaurant for fish, on the coast just south of Falasarna. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Very relaxing and quiet stay. Perfect heated pool as in May the weather was cold. Boutique family run hotel. Some rooms face inner courtyard, but you stay in your room rarely. I did not hear neighbours and there are not many rooms and I really liked it as in other hotels in Crete island I had very bad sleep (thin doors, people smoking everywhere). In this hotel there are signs that respect other guests and they did etc. Very nice breakfast as well.

Ms. Elefteria welcomed us at the door and had a small talk about how we feel, where we are coming from etc. After learning our names, she addressed us with name. Even the next morning, she said " Good morning Xx". This showed how she cares people around her. We loved the room, the quietness around, the hotel's distance to Falassarna.. We will make sure to return there soon.

Absolutely lovely villa. Very clean. Perfect Location, close to tavernas, supermarket and a bakery, and 8 minute drive to Falassarna beach (best beach in Crete). Dimos the host was excellent, he even bought us homemade cakes which were delicious. He also runs his own Gyros shop which is down the road, which we highly recommended. Overall 10/10 and we will be returning.
