Great base for discovering the north of the Island. Loved the well tended, beautiful and peaceful garden around the pool, the clean rooms etc. It's a great area. Loved the excellent local (3mins walk) 'old stonehouse' restaurant. And loved the great beaches. Foki beach just on from Fiscardo was our favorite.

Beautiful hotel and pool was amazing. Delicious breakfast. View is spectacular from all angles especially our balcony. Peaceful. Clean. I love how this is family owned and our needs were met. Owner even gave us an umbrella to borrow for the beach. We've stayed at other places and liked this one the best. Easy parking on property. A few minutes drive to bay and beaches. I also highly suggest eating at The Picnic restaurant walking distance down the street.

The studio apartments are located on the hill of Assos village providing a great view from the balcony. The studio has the essentials, such as water boiler, coffee maker, and hair drier. The owners are very kind and welcoming and they provide with daily cleaning and a small breakfast. We also got a welcoming gift, cake slices. The village is great for those who don't want to travel a lot. It has a very good bakery, mini markets with reasonable prices, touristic shops for souvenirs, a snack cafe bar and restaurants. The beach is nearby and also there is a viewpoint to have a small activity and view the sunsets. The studio apartments are very close to the beach, around 5-10 minutes walk. And there is a shortcut with stairs. There is space for parking.

You can tell by the size of some of the yachts that are moored here, it is a more expensive resort. However the warmth and service from the staff at the shops and restaurant remains. You are able to take day ferries to other islands from here

Lovely village.

Lovely village. It's a popular yachting harbour and I think this makes it a bit more expensive than the rest of the island. We swam at Fiko bay which is about a kilometre from where we were staying. Nice and reasonably priced taverna here, though you need to book for the evening.

Small beautiful harbour village hosting tiny fishing boats, sailing holiday flotillas and some fabulous superyachts. Loads of waterside restaurants - our favourites are Captains Cabin, Elli's and Kyma. The people watching is off-the-scale! Can get busy between 11am and 2pm with day trippers. Evenings wandering around the harbour are magical. Theodora's have the best cocktails. Hire a car from the airport, it's a lovely drive up to Fiskardo and then you ca see other places. The roads are very good.

You can tell why it's one of the must see places on...

You can tell why it's one of the must see places on Kefalonia. Make sure you stay there and get up early to get breakfast at one of the harbour side cafes and watch the boats and their crew preparing for the day. It's not even expensive to eat out in the evenings, and the views are stunning.

There's always so much going on in Fiskardo!

There's always so much going on in Fiskardo! Beautiful yachts coming and going, bustling boutique shops and fabulous cafes, ice-cream parlours, cocktail bars and restaurants all along the harbour front that makes up the town. Locals are friendly, engaging and keen for you to enjoy your stay which is great too. Beyond the immediate harbour front are well signposted walks - e.g. to the lighthouse and beaches which are well worth exploring. We had some lovely traditional Greek meals in Kefalonia (mostly in Fiskardo and on Ithaki), but our personal favourite place was Foki Taverna (at Foki Beach about 20 mins walk from the harbour) where the local food is cooked well and served with a smile....also very cheap and with a lovely view to enjoy as you eat too!

The harbour and the places for food and drink where 1st class, but above all the Balhambra suites where the jewel in the crown, what a delightful stay we had, definitely will choose this location again, thank you for a wonderful holiday break

We came for a family wedding and had the hotel virtually to ourselves. The pool area was so nice with sea views as did most of the rooms. It’s a very pretty property. There was a great Taverna a couple of mins walk away and a little supermarket up the road which was so helpful. The staff were so lovely with a special mention to Nina who spoke perfect English which was very helpful to us. One of our guests walked down to Fiskardo but we tended to get taxis which were about 10 euro.

The location of the hotel is in the middle of nowhere. We had a car and spent 1 night, so it was acceptable. 2 km to Fiskardo, short driva to evening time in the port of Fiskardo or for the excursion from the port. There is no privacy in the hotel. Breakfast was of very good quality, but for me too much attention from the staff (I am more af an introvert). I asked for double bed, I got twin bed. Good parking posibilities in the hotel, Bathroom very small (as usual in Greece).

The view from our balcony was amazing, Beautiful clean and comfy bed.... Lovely ladies in each day to tidy room change towels etc... A 10min walk into town, but sooo quiet in our apartment... The pool is spotless crystal clear ,even pool towels are supplied..all for a reasonable price .. You must go there if you want to stay in Fiscardo......
