My boyfriend and I stayed at Maison Meltem at the beginning of April, and from the moment we arrived—it was magical! Olivier, Yannis, and Hera welcomed us so warmly into their beautiful home and venue, creating an unforgettable experience. Every single detail was thoughtfully curated—the food, lovingly prepared by Yannis, was absolutely delicious, the rooms were serene and helped us truly connect with nature, and Olivier stayed in touch from the moment we booked to make sure everything was perfect. It’s hard to put into words just how much care and love went into every part of our stay—from the decor to the toiletries, everything reflected deep appreciation for the island, the art of hospitality, and the guest experience. It was our first visit, but definitely not our last!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel and I couldn't have been happier with my experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. My room was not only spacious but also had a fantastic view of the beach and sea that I enjoyed waking up to every morning. They offer a great breakfast in a terrace with that same view of the beach. Overall, it was a truly enjoyable stay, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and pleasant getaway.

Phenomenal hotel, view and staff. We loved everything during our stay, absolutely no issues, quiet adult only space, beautiful design of the building, view from balcony is breathtaking. In august parking was no issue, free parking on the streets all around, restaurant across the road on the edge of a cliff with good quality food and drinks, just perfect service, but also more expensive. To Peninsula quad safari 5min by foot.

The appartment was super clean (thnx to Tatiana 💙💛). They cleaned the rooms daily, they changed the bedsheets and towels. The staff ( the receptionist was very lovely and helped us book a taxi for the airport) were super friendly and helpful. There is also a pool that is open from 8 am to 8 pm). There is a bar downstairs in case you want to have breakfast or to simply have a coffee in the morning. The view is breathtaking. The location was great (5 min from the beach by walking). The bus station that goes to heraklion is also infront of the structure. Everything was great. I higly recommend!!!

The apartment is fabulous, clean, and right on the best part of the beach, close to a quiet taverna and free sun loungers and umbrellas. From the rooms, you can watch the sun set directly over the sea. It's an ideal place for a relaxing holiday, yet strategically located for exploring Crete. Two other tavernas are within 100 meters, and more can be found in the village of Fodele, just 3 km away. Special thanks to Penelope, who welcomed us with kindness, generosity, and discretion. 10!

The location is very good, Fodele is a lovely village. There's a children playground just in front of the Mandarina Grove and plenty of little shops/tavernas. There's a beach in 5 mins drive from Fodele. The apartment itself is quite small but very cosy and has everything you might need during the stay. It's also nicely decorated. There's a lot of sunlight coming in to the apartment during the day, which is very nice.

There is everything you need in the apartment. I really liked the big bed most times I don't sleep good in the hotel bed but this one was very comfortable and big. It's has a nice rooftop with table chairs and sunbed. For me it was perfect to do some sport excersices up there. Would definitely book it again. Thank you for making my stay at Fodele beach so comfortable.!

Very good resort to rest with/without family. All services at the highest level. If you would like to explore near attractions i highly recommend to rent a car. Waterpark located within hotel premises, surprisingly wide range of slides for everyone to use. Food & Rooms at the high level. Customer service always available. Thumbs up!
