The view from our balcony was absolutely breathtaking—truly one of the highlights of our trip. Our stay at this hotel in Folegandros was absolutely amazing! The view from our room was incredible, with a balcony that overlooked all of Folegandros and the sea – truly breathtaking. The hotel room itself was spacious, impeccably clean, and just overall fantastic. The hosts were phenomenal. They served us delicious breakfast every day with the best food and coffee, and were always kind and helpful with anything we needed. They even picked us up from the port and drove us back when we needed to leave, making our trip seamless and stress-free. The location is perfect, just a two-minute walk to Hora, which was incredibly convenient. This is by far the best place to stay in Folegandros, and I loved every moment of it. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the island. We can't wait to come back!

From the very first moment we arrived at the accommodation, we felt like we had stepped into a little paradise. The place was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and carefully designed down to the last detail. The room was spacious, with a large comfortable bed and all the amenities we needed to feel right at home. The view from the balcony was truly magical; every morning we woke up to the sounds of nature, and every evening we enjoyed the stunning night sky, counting shooting stars. The location is ideal, offering peace and relaxation, while at the same time being very close to wonderful beaches and great restaurants. Lina, the host, was exceptional: kind, friendly, and always available to help us with recommendations for food, excursions, and activities. She made us feel genuinely welcome and gave us the impression that we weren’t just staying at an accommodation, but being hosted by friends. Overall, this is a destination that combines quality, hospitality, and an authentic experience. Loved the way the house has been renovated so sympathetically and beautifully. Very comfortable, beautiful views from the terrace (very windy when we were there, so not able to use that much), great location for the town and busses to other parts of the island.

We had a wonderful stay at Lithia Villas in Folegandros. The location is excellent – close to everything yet quiet and peaceful. The villa was very clean and well-maintained. Breakfast was simple but fresh, with eggs, cheese, fruits, and bread refilled every day. The host was very polite and welcoming, which made our stay even more pleasant. Highly recommended for a relaxing and comfortable stay on the island!

Excellent lovely cosy apartments near Chora of Folegandros. It was the cleanest apartment we have ever visited. Way more beautiful than the pictures. The best location, 5 minutes walk from Chora. Dimitra, the hostess, was wonderful, always helpful, couldn't ask for anything more. Once we asked something, we had it immediately. If you want to visit Folegandros, it's just the apartment for you. Cannot recommend it enough. Thank you Dimitra for making our visit remarkable.

I always believed that Folegandros would be one of the last...

I always believed that Folegandros would be one of the last commercialised islands, but now it seems to have turned full on its head, full of non residential Greeks arriving for the summer to look after hoards of foreign tourists thinking that they have found the "true" Greece. No Greek newspapers are sold on the island, and licences for bars and restaurants are usually refused to enable the island to keep its "traditional" self. But that was lost long ago, when its population left for other places, leaving an ageing 300 all-year-round residents to endure the winter.

Truly the most picturesque and beautiful Greek island I have ever been to. Great for relaxing and chilling, romantic and authentic Cycladic vibes and style. Coming from the crowds of Santorini it was such a pleasant surprise and had an unforgettable time. Beautiful and untouched beaches with our favourite being Agali.

Restful. Relaxing. Calm and clean. Very comfy with great hot water, great beds. Decor in the rooms is a bit retro and dated and the TV placements are hilarious (you can't view the screens around the 4 poster beds) but you're not there to watch tv. Enjoy the amazing pool, the great drinks and the amazing town. It's the best!

Folegrandos is a great place if you enjoy walking.

Folegrandos is a great place if you enjoy walking. There are several trails to remote beaches. Chora is a great base and the centre of town is amazing - it’s pedestrianised so very safe & clean. Loads of shops and restaurants. One of my favourite places in the Cyclades. Bus service was reliable and cheap.

It is a small island - but there are a few very nice and interesting places to go and visit: for me/us - the beach of Agios Nikolaos (and it´s small bar with food and excellent reggae and latin music - just to sit / drink beer or ouzo and RELAX staring at the beach and the sea...) - you go from Agkali / the beach "Katergo" - nothing there, you need to get everything with you before you go (by a small boat) from the port Karavostassi - but it is pure nature, a very simple beach, crystal clear waters. Restaurants in Chora: Mparmpounaki - Goupi - Araxe. To name just a few. Traffic: Very good, check the schedules and it´s fine, you plan your day trip accordingly. The island is a very good place for those who enjoy also hill walking and hiking. As well for going to / swimming / and relaxing on a relatively distant / lonely beach (there are more than above referred, but we had no time to go). In the evening to enjoy the international, but traditional Greek company in various places that Chora (the main village) has and offers. Just: HIGHLY RECCOMENDED!!

Everything about the hotel was superb. The family are warm and welcoming and couldn’t have been more helpful. Our room overlooked the swimming pool and had sea views. It was clean, modern and had great WiFi, the whole hotel was to a very high standard. Close to the town. It was very helpful to have a pick up and drop off from ferry.

The location of the hotel was perfect , a few minutes walk to restaurants, shops and bars and the bus stop. Our room overlooked the pool and had a lovely sun terrace. We were transferred to and from the port really efficiently. All staff at the hotel were great. Dimitris was a wonderful host. We would definitely stay here again.

Hotel Odysseus is the perfect little hotel in Folegandros. Amazing view! Staff so helpful and kind. Lovely pool and short walking distance to shops and restaurants. They also help with pickup and drop off at the port. Amazing sunset view from the hotel!
