The Villa looks over the most beautiful bay and is located in a lovely part of southern Paxos, with its own pool. Such a gorgeous location. We loved watching the boats come in and swimming in the nearby beaches too. The property was very comfortable for a family of 4, fully equipped to cook with air conditioning, wifi, bbq and outdoor seating. The host went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely go back.

Very close to all the beautiful beaches too,, some very nice mountain restaurants and bars nearby as well. We loved our stay, wished we could have stayed a lot more. It’s a lovely traditional building situated in the main square yet very nicely and modern renovated. Bed & pillows are very comfortable. The amenities in the kitchen and bathroom are very sufficient. There are many cafes & restaurants options around, just 1 min away. And best thing, the boats to Anti Paxos are leaving just in front of the building.

We had a wonderful 10 night stay in the orange apartment (which is the ground floor of the villa, the level below the pool). It opens on to a patio and garden area with multiple seating options and a fabulous view. The apartments are cleverly designed so you feel quite separate from the other guests. Full kitchen, good aircon, comfortable bed, lovely pool, great host/ owner.

We really liked Gaios, very quaint little place with the usual array of bars and restuarants to choose from. Friendly atmosphere. We ate mainly at our accomodation about 4 miles away but enjoyed our scooter rides into Gaios for supplies. Whilst there we would often visit one of the cafes for a drink and a snack. Altogether a picturesque little town and a nice place to watch the world go by.

We loved the beautiful harbour setting, very picturesque. No cruise ships so not suddenly inundated with thousands of tourists. We had great food experiences in the local restaurants. Our favourite was Taka-Taka.

Gaios is a charming and intimate little town that truly has everything – stunning scenery, turquoise and blue beaches, lush green hills, and plenty of restaurants, cafés, and supermarkets. Everyone can find their own special spot here. Although small, Gaios offers plenty to do both inside and outside the town, making it a perfect base for exploring the whole island. You can go on hiking trips around Paxos, as the island is full of great trails, rent bicycles to explore every corner, or even rent a boat to go sailing by yourself or with a group, depending on your preference. For those staying in apartments, there are supermarkets with everything you need for cooking at home. The trip from Corfu to Paxos by ferry is quick and simple, and once you arrive, you can easily reach Gaios on foot (as we did) or by taxi until 11 PM for about €10. The island is truly dreamy, with kind and welcoming people everywhere. We felt that 4 days and 3 nights were exactly the right amount of time to explore the island, relax, enjoy delicious food, and then move on.

Gaios was a delight.

Gaios was a delight. Very pretty with plenty of tavernas coffee bars etc. However as we made our way through quite a few places we were told many times “ we don’t have “ when trying to order food. It’s not the end of the season you still have tourists! Best trip was with Captain Yannis on Agia Sebastianos boat which was exceptional! Authentic Greek food throughout the day so many swim stops around Paxos and Anti Paxos and for just 55 € great value this was our favourite day I absolutely recommend this to everyone.

Paxos is beautiful.

Paxos is beautiful. We stayed in Gaios as it is the central place for other places on the island. It is small but has everything you need. It is busy with day trippers and those on the many large yachts moored out to sea so the price of clothes in the shops reflect this. But most of the restaurants are very well-priced and all the food is delicious. We didn't have a bad meal during the 5 days we were there. There is a bus to the other towns of Lakka and Loggos, both which have delicious food and access to beaches, which may be pebbly, but the sea is luxurious. A 15 minute boat ride to Anti-Paxos gives a fantastic trip to 2 sandy beaches, light blue sea and places to have lunch. I'd recommend this island for a holiday and Gaios as a base.

Variety of restaurants and bars lovely seafront bars to have a drink or ice cream watching the boats come in and out. It gets very busy from around 11-3 when the boat trips come in and the beaches are very small. My tip would to venture a bit further out to find more peaceful and not crowded beaches. Mongonisi beach is about an hours walk along the coast it has a sandy beach safe for children with a very nice beach bar/restaurant sunbeds are 5 euros and the beach does not get too crowded

The location is close to bars, restaurants and shops in Gaios, the main town on Paxos and a lovely base for a holiday. The property is in an elevated position with lovely views and is peaceful. The accommodation is spacious and well-equipped and tastefully decorated. There is a large terrace with a pool, sun loungers, armchairs, barbecue and choice on dining in the open or under a roof. The owners - Eleni and Kostas - were attentive and kind and made every effort to make us comfortable and have an enjoyable and relaxing holiday.

The apartment was of the highest standard. Everything very well kept and cared for. George the owner met us at the ferry port and kindly drove us to the apartment. He made us very welcome and surprised us with a complimentary breakfast. He also was kind enough to drive us back to the ferry on our departure day. We had a wonderful stay in Paxos and would return to the apartment for a holiday. A special thank you to George.

We loved our stay at Santa Marina Villas. Vali is lovely and a fabulous host. Breakfast was good and served by the pool area overlooking the bay, which is just heavenly. The rooms are cleaned everyday and the property is well maintained. The area is relaxed and chilled, and an easy walk into Gaios which is much busier. We loved Paxos and would definitely recommend the villas. We would love to visit again one day.

A lovely little villa with its own parking and a great view over the ocean. Directly in front is a small pebbled beach and a restaurant. About 15 min walk to the port of Gaios, but I recommend a car as Paxos is so beautiful and worth driving around to sightsee. Wonderful to have your own pool to swim in, and if you are a lover of cats we had the sweetest mother and her two kittens visit us!
