We visit Crete very often. Our favorite region is the north-eastern part of Crete. We decided to stay at Manolis House and it was the best decision. The house is beautiful. We spent almost 4 weeks there. It was recently renovated and done beautifully. It has two very comfortable bedrooms with large beds. One with a large window and an amazing view of the sea, huge cliffs and olive groves. Very well-equipped kitchen. The biggest advantage is the view. It's breathtaking. You can spend the whole day on the large terrace and you won't get bored of the view. The house is located in a very quiet area. You can sleep with the windows open. A private parking space is a great convenience. The owners are very nice and helpful. Manolis House is the best place in Crete we have stayed so far.

The exceptional hosts, fantastic welcoming meal, amazing sea view, being away from crowds, close to nature, sea, original Greek home, cleaniness and tasty decor, plenty of space. We stayed 2 nights, and changed the plan to drive around during our stay, just to the good tavern 2km. Enjoyed swimming, being together, 2 sunrises, 2 moonrises and 2 sunsets.

The property is definitely the prettiest house in Mochlos along with Alex the best host you could wish to meet. The room had every thing we needed for a comfortable stay, very clean & organised to make the best use of the space. Great location, plenty of nice places to eat. Last but not least - a big thank you to Alex for looking after us so well & driving us to the main road so we could catch the bus to our next stay. Mochlos & Chez Cecile are some thing special!
