We were met at the port by our wonderful host Michael who took us to the apartment is his car. Its an easy walk from the port, but with luggage, but its not an easy place to find if you have not been there before.

This place was one of the most welcoming accommodations I've stayed. The hospitality and friendly atmosphere since the pick up from the port until the moment of leaving made this place a special spot in Amorgos. Alexander and all the people did everything they could to make us feel at home away from home. The sunset view from the pool deserves a mention as well.

Barbara waited for us at the port, but was down into town a bit further than we expected so we scratched our heads for a bit before finding her. The room was located just inside old town, but not so far that we broke a sweat climbing the stairs to reach the place. The room was on the second floor and filled with a lovely breeze. The balcony faced the port and served as a wonderful place to enjoy breakfast. The small kitchen made food prep easy and the simple bathroom met all our needs. Everything was clean and ready for our arrival. I will definitely stay again.

From a location point of view the hotel is very close to the port, from where you can also pick up the boat for Maltezi and Plakes beach or even Koufonisia and other close distance islands. The first day we got in Katapola, Konstantinos warmly welcomed us. We talked for a few minutes and he showed us on the map all the "must see" places (beaches, villages, sightseeings etc.) we should visit, in great detail that just a local can do. Everything he suggested was really worth it and saved us time from queues and hardship. He is a very good guy, polite, friendly and ready to help. Finally, the room, as the hotel as well, was newly renovated. It has all the necessary equipment, a balcony with nice view and it was very clean. Every day the staff changed our bedsheets and the towels. Overall, I would recommend the hotel to all the people they would like to have a comfortable stay during their time in Amorgos.

The best place to stay! Such a wonderful week- Petros was so helpful. We were met at the port and taken to the beautiful apartment, overlooking the sea. The room was serviced and cleaned regularly and we could not fault the attention to detail - Everything was absolutely beautiful. Katapola’s best location and beautiful design with modern equipment next to stone walls. Very comfortable bed and large fridge in the room. Literally 5m from the beach and a few minutes from supermarket, bars and restaurants. Lovely welcome… Thomas has plenty of choice of vehicles for rent just outside the harbor alley which is a must as Amorgos is a long island. Pilates lessons 3 times a week available…

Excellent communication. We met at the port and were taken to this beautiful studio. Loved everything about it. Location is great, beautifully furnished, great shower and loved the outside terrace. Would definitely like to stay there when we return to the beautiful island of Amorgos.

Walking distance to the port, restaurants, car rental, and a beach. There is a bus that runs sparingly around the island. However, if you want to be adventurous and find historical sites, amazing little towns and hit up the remote nude beaches, you will need a car. In October I paid €60 cash to rent a car for three days. No deposit, no insurance… just a hand shake. It felt like stepping back in time.

Quieter than other big islands and still plenty of good restaurants, rental properties and cars available. An unexpected extra was live music in a garden setting just steps from our lodging on the hillside above the port. Recommend renting a car and seeing other parts of Amorgos as well. I have been to the island twice and would go again!

Katapola is quiet and charming with a good selection of...

Katapola is quiet and charming with a good selection of restaurants around the picturesque harbour. We visited at the end of May when it wasn't busy and the island's landscape was greener and dotted with colourful wild flowers - an ideal time for walkers.

Lovely cosy, clean,well furnished room, the best bathroom we've had in Greece so far. Nice to have a proper shower with screen although still.hand held shower head. Comfy beds, nice linen. Great quiet area and lovely little garden area, coukd hear cockerels felt rural. 5 min walk to the port. Ignore mosns about steps, there's a handful then you go along a flat path. No problem walking there at all unless you've a disability. Amorgos and Katapola are lovely and we had a great stay and would return. Very relaxing.

The hotel owner Ioanna made a warm wellcome to us.The towels change daily.The breakfast that is served at reception area is enough and has homemade sweets.Also reception area shares same place with Pothy’s sweet that has wonderfull sweets especially Portakolapita.The hotel is in a good location near port.There is public parking area near the hotel.With Ioanna’s advices you can organize your holiday in Amorgos easily.If you want to do peacefull and relaxing holiday,then Minoa hotel must be your first choice..

What a fantastic place to stay in Katapola, Amorgos. Spacious rooms, close to the port and all the cafes, restaurants and shops. Host Sofia is so kind and accommodation. She met us off the ferry to show us to the studio. Rooms are perfectly well appointed. Most highly recommended.
