Fantastic location right at the seaside. Short walking distance to shops, restaurants and bus stop but still quiet and relaxing ambience. Comfortable for stay of family of four. Yanni was a fabulous host that truly cared about our experience, provided great recommendations on food, surrounding beaches, sightseeing destinations and others. Last, but not least, do not skip visits to Yanni’s restaurant St. Peter - delicious food, attentive staff and great locations at seafront.

Beautifully furnished both inside and out, spotlessly clean, extremely well cared for, attentive and welcoming host (Constantinos). The villa is in an excellent elevated position with views of the hills above Katelios and the bay in which Katelios lies. A 15 minute stroll gets you into the village which is well served with restaurants and bars. Our apartment could sleep six within the three bedrooms so the apartment was spacious having three balconies two with table and chairs. The apartment has a well equipped kitchen - fridge-freezer, hob, oven, microwave, washing machine etc. We had the downstairs double bedroom with en-suit and sliding door access to a balcony. The fixtures and fittings are virtually brand new, with our room having a purpose built wardrobe (with plenty of hangers). Our host had provided adapter plugs and all doors(except main entrance), and windows had fly screens. Visiting in May we experienced no difficulty with biting insects. The pool is an infinity one, being of 1.5m across its full length. Brilliant villa that I'm certain we will revisit!

Katelios was a very peaceful, relaxing place for a beach...

Katelios was a very peaceful, relaxing place for a beach holiday with no loud clubs and bars. We enjoyed the peace and quiet, and lovely atmosphere, but as we are non-drivers it was slightly limited for a 2 week stay. The sea was beautiful, with clear warm water, but the main beach was a little disappointing , small and not very sandy. Another beach close by was much bigger but with pebbles. It helps if staying in this location to be a driver as the bus service is very limited and taxis are expensive. With a car you can reach nicer beaches more easily.

fantastic little village with everything you need, beach is perfect, sandy, sunbeams, waiter service, shallow calm water. shops are convenient and stock everything you need, although no chemist, nearest is in Skala which is a car drive away. Many restaurants on sea front all of which are lovely, food available at all times, 'Floridita' is best for cocktails and 'Delicious' is family run and has simple home cooked delicious food, by far the best restaurant in our opinion

My go to place twice a year. A small, quiet resort where most of the tourists are returning for the umpteenth time. Very friendly locals who always give you a warm welcome. Warm shallow sea with local tavernas within easy reach.

Katelios is a quiet resort with enough restaurants to try a different one each night during a week's stay. There are three bars by the beach. It is more of a family resort, not busy, a few gift shops and not much more. Beautiful scenery and not too far from Skala for a busier vibe.

When we arrived in Katelios we thought we had hit the...

When we arrived in Katelios we thought we had hit the jackpot with location, and the level of quiet was just unheard of. We wondered where everyone was... The little strip of around 10 bars and cafes and restaurants were all virtually empty when we got there around 2pm. It livened up a little in the evening but nowhere was particularly rammed. Why we wondered?! Prices are consistent throughout the places but the best all round for breakfast was the one in the middle next to Nemesis with the egg chair hanging down. It has bamboo umbrellas and for €6 the yoghurt fruitbowl is hard to beat. Katelios itself is glorious, but unless you really do love lounging on the beach all day, you need a car to get out and about. We spent 6 full days here and pleased we had a car for 2 and went on a day boat trip on one of the days. There is not much to do, so you need to get out somehow. I would 100% recommend it to friends and family, but with the caveat not to expect much going on, its a very simple and relaxing place, no parties, no noise, average age 50+ and couples. Get a car for a few days, explore and I would say a week is ABSOLUTELY enough time. We did 6 days including a change day and we went to Argostoli for 4 days, I welcomed the change as I was getting a bit bored, but I'm not a lounging sort.

Katelios is a very quiet, relaxed and friendly place.

Katelios is a very quiet, relaxed and friendly place. The swimming is safe and there are sunbeds and beach umbrellas. There are a number of restaurants along the sea front so you are spoilt for choice - one for each day of the week! Would highly recommend it.

A lovely family run hotel, with great staff who make your stay a relaxed one. Alex and Sophie are really helpful, and will happily help to arrange car hire, taxis etc. The breakfast menu is plentiful enough, and Helen and the staff do a great job. Quiet location, so quiet at night which is exactly what we wanted. Not too far from Skala, and other beaches along the south coast. Under 15 min walk to the local beach, where there are plenty of places to eat. A lovely week long stay.

Beautiful villa in a very peaceful location. We stayed next door but 1 last year in Villa Ismini which is just as nice although Ismini has a bigger bbq area it made absolutely no difference to our stay this year. The area is very peaceful, absolutely no hassle whatsoever, I would recommend a car though as there is a lot to see apart from the little area of Katelios which is so laid back and relaxed you wouldn't believe! Very friendly place.

A new, very calm, refined and charming property, by car just a few minutes from the nice village of Katelios with many nice restaurants. The owner is very attentive and our stay was really relaxing. Parking just beside, Nice pool. Quiet modern rooms. Ideal for relaxing stay, because the region is quite isolated.
