This review could be extremely long, I could write about the perfect room for us, the good breakfast, the proximity to everything, the very helpful and nice staff or the incredibly charming little daughter of the house (Alexandra). We stay at Kouenos apartment, the view is amazing and the owner was very attentive. About 20 minutes from Agios Nikolaos, 30 minutes from Lerapetra, and I almost forgot, a spectacular beach just down the mountain 2mins. This is perhaps the best value for money in the area.

As soon as I booked Androkini contacted us with all necessary information. All was perfect and lovely. The location is exceptional and we can park our car just in front of the house. Since we stayed 3 days we didn t use all utilities and ate at restaurants, but if you need to cook all is available in the house. Upstairs we have a bedroom with a nice balcony wich we enjoyed at night. All was perfect. Thank you.

Everything, especially Rena! Wonderful people who were very welcoming. The place was so well equipped, every possible need was catered for with little personal extra touches such as towelling dressing gowns and breakfast in the fridge! The different tea and coffee choice were amazing, Rena had thought about everything. Great for families with a lovely cot, toys and even a baby bath provided. Also they have a chicken, geese and goats at the back to visit. We adored their wonderful friendly golden labrador too Lena and her family were so kind and helpful. We tried to book for longer but they were full and I am not surprised, we plan to return next summer.

Location overlooking the sea and sunset was incredible. House itself is very comfortable and has a great layout for any family or group. All facilities were in working order, we had more than we could have wished for in terms what we needed for the week's stay.

Stunning place, the house was a dream.

Stunning place, the house was a dream. Spotlessly clean and perfectly equipped with every comfort. The hosts, Anna and Georgios, are extremely kind and always available, and they surprised us with delicious treats. The house is on the sea, and in the evenings we fell asleep to the sound of the waves. The road to get there is easy to find, through magnificent olive groves. We highly recommend it, we will be back.

Large village on the main road.

Large village on the main road. Starting point for day trips to Vai, Kato Zakros, Agios Nikolaos, and the Lassithi Plateau. Close to Mochlos: a charming fishing village. Excellent fish. Some interesting traditional tavernas.

Kavousion is a small, charming village in Crete.

Kavousion is a small, charming village in Crete. Here you'll find peace and tranquility. Chez Georges, a small taverna right on the main street, is highly recommended. It's nicely run, has a friendly, family atmosphere, and a small menu. It's important to allow yourself plenty of time to stroll leisurely through the village. You can find everything you need for daily life here.
