We had the pleasure of staying at Minos Beach Art Hotel for a relaxing weekend, and it exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we felt like we had stepped into paradise. The hotel itself is beautifully spread across a large area, offering various accommodation options. Based on the glowing reviews, we opted for a bungalow right on the water, and it was the best decision we made. The bungalow was recently renovated, featuring elegant, modern decor and all the comforts we could ask for. The veranda right by the water provided breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere – truly a dream spot to unwind and connect with nature. Walking around the hotel, we enjoyed exploring the lush flora and the impressive art installations that added a unique cultural touch to the entire experience. We also had the pleasure of dining at La Bouillabaisse Restaurant during one of their special Invited Chefs & Friends event. The food was beyond incredible – every dish was a masterpiece, and the service was impeccable. A perfect 10/10 in every way. Thank you to the wonderful team at Minos Beach Art Hotel and the General Manager for his special attention. We can't wait to return!

Travelling with allergies can feel like a minefield, but not here. The chef specifically showed us which dishes were safe from the allergen and which ones weren't. Very few weren't safe and the chef also made separate dessert to ensure no cross contamination. All the staff were so friendly and very accommodating! Absolutely would recommend this to anyone. No one was fighting for sunbeds either as there were plenty

We really enjoyed our few days at this apartment. The location, right on the waters edge, was amazing! The family was so welcoming, with a gift of cake and the owner booking a restaurant for us. The property has a small bar on the sea where we enjoyed our ice-cold beer. It closes at night so that eliminated any noise. The apartment was pristinely clean and well equipped. We loved that it was a little way outside the hectic touristy part of town. Plenty of parking, too.

Villa Benjamin is an absolute gem in Crete! Perfectly located near great tavernas, a huge supermarket, and beautiful beaches (we took our best trip photos there). The villa is huge, spotless, and far better than the photos suggest. The rooftop terrace is the highlight - stunning views and the best spot for breakfast or evenings. The bed was incredibly soft and comfortable, and everything felt 5* quality. The host was amazing - super fast replies, great recommendations, even helped me arrange flowers. If you’re exploring East Crete, this is hands down the best place to stay!

The apartment was exceptionally clean, it was comfortable and everything worked. The views are gorgeous and you can really enjoy them from the little balconies on either side or just through the big picture window. The location was perfect; just a stroll to cafés, shops, restaurants and to the lake. There is also a small supermarket and an excellent gelateria just down the steps from the house. The host was extremely kind and welcoming. She really couldn’t have been any more accommodating. We had a very late arrival and departure but she made it as trouble free for us as possible and all with a warm smile. We would definitely stay here again.
