Very spacious with all amenities a house has. There was a fully equipped kitchen and even a washing machine in one of the bathrooms. Staff was very friendly and helpful and everything was very new modern and clean!

Amazing service They offered to dry our clothes!! There’s a washing machine and they gave us powder!! Didn’t charge for any of that. Very kind people especially Elaine was very kind and helpful The hotel itself was very good also- good amenities Breakfast was good, made hot drinks with alternative drinks. This place is definitely at least 4 star and will soon become that, if not 5 star. Really affordable at the moment.

The hosts were amazing — always available with recommendations and answers to any questions. The room was spotlessly clean, and housekeeping came every day. My wife and I stayed at the hotel for three nights, just lovely. A small hotel next to the sea with few people (about 10 rooms) so there is silence, you only hear the sound of the waves. The hotel is managed by a charming family that provides service from the heart, at any hour for any request. Breakfast they prepare is sufficient, the bonus, eating on a square outside the hotel next to the sea at sunrise, perfect. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from a promenade with taverns and a 5-minute drive from the main street, a 10-minute drive from the port of Kismos from where you can sail to Balos. One hour drive from Alfonsi beach. In short, the hotel is suitable for couples looking for quiet on the beach with access to all the other attractions in the area. An opportunity to say a huge thank you to the family that runs the hotel.

It was set in a lovely spot in kissamos overlooking the beach. Everyone was so welcoming and kind who worked there, providing perfect living conditions throughout our stay. I would definitely return! The food was also 👌🏻👌🏻

Tony was really helpful, the studio was spacious, clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. The location is perfect, tucked away and quiet but only seconds to the main street and 2 minutes away from a large supermarket.

This is a true gem of Western Crete, a very special place where you can find peace, good food, hospitality and great views. The 2 bedroom house is a wonderful choice for families/friends as it has 2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and 2 terraces. The property also has a pool nearby and a majestic restaurant is just across the road. The owner is a lovely lady and she makes sure everything is perfect. The location is great for Balos, Falasarna and even Elafonisi, while still being very close to the Kissamos and 40 min away from Chania.

For those who want a quiet get-away and yet close shopping, Kissamos is hard to beat. Close to the port for Balos-Gramvousa excursions and secluded for a wonderful relaxed time with your loved one. Gramvousa Restaurant is a must, a short drive to a memorable dining experience. Loved snorkeling and fish sightings around rocky areas. Pictures cannot capture the panoramic breath-taking setting.

Not really a resort, but a working town, has a small, pretty square with a few bars and tavernas. A few good tavernas and bars down on the seafront. A lot more could be made of the beach with a little effort.

Kissamos offered us a wonderful mix of relaxation and local...

Kissamos offered us a wonderful mix of relaxation and local charm. The nightlife was a pleasant surprise, with cozy bars and lively tavernas where we enjoyed delicious food and drinks. Evening walks through the town square and the nearby streets filled with local shops and traditional products were some of the highlights of our stay. It's a great place for couples looking for a laid-back yet authentic Cretan experience.

There is an instagram picture worthy and tasteful Gramboussa Restaurant in the village Kaliviani with amazing service. The village is authentic, with historic buildings and a special aura. Unfortunately, we didn't manage to stop in Kissamos.

Kissamos itself as a town is nothing special but it has some seafront tavernas and its location makes it a good base to explore the local area - in particular to take a boat trip around to Balos bay and lagoon which is highly recommended, including a stop at Gramvousa island to walk up to the castle. It's also a short drive over the hill to Falasarna bay for a closer nice beach option with sunbeds. Kissamos beach is rather scraggy looking compared to other more scenic options locally!

This hotel is a true gem. Quiet yet 5 minutes away from bustling marina with plenty of tavernas and bars and 10 minutes away from the town centre with even more choices of food, drinks and entertainment. The swimming pool is lovely, the view from the restaurant on site is so relaxing. Breakfast was amazing, too. If I ever come back to this part of Crete, I will choose this hotel again. Jacuzzi are an additional bonus as well. So relaxing after the whole day of sightseeing.

A new, very clean hotel with comfortable rooms and polite staff. Nice breakfast by the pool, plenty of space for car parking, reasonable prices. Excellent location - close to all popular beaches in west Crete + plenty of option for dinner along the local waterfront within a short walking distance.

The location is amazing. Close to top 3 beaches in west Crete. The staff was very helpful and complimented us with nice welcome for our honeymoon. The best thing was breakfast next to beach, with amazing food and nice variety every day. Thank you hotel Aphrodita for beautiful stay.
