I stayed 2 nights at Minos Boutique Hotel. The staff was very kind, we reached the hotel earlier than the check-in time and they kept our luggages in the reception, so we could reach the beach. When we returned to hotel they brought our luggages in the room and offered us a bottle of water. Very appreciated. The room was very good, large and with a very beatifull toilete (with a not leaking and very big shower!). Room was very clean too. The service was amazing, clean bed sheets every day and shower soap refill. Breakfast was delicious and abundant. They bring to you whatever you like and ask if you want juice/coffee refill. In general, all the staff was very very kind and hospitable. I totally reccomend to stay here! Only one bad thing about my stay: too short! Stupid me to book only 2 nights!

Hotel was very nice and clean. Breakfast was delicious. Sea view room was a little loud, since it was facing pool and restaurant/ bar were guest were having fun. At night it was quite and a lot of sounds from wild life, so cool, especially when you live in big city and have no experience like that at home. Roosters were screaming at 5 am. For me it was pleasant. Little too far on heal to walk to ( mostly from) the beach. And local beach is not so great anyway. We were driving to Matala.

It was nice that it had wifi, free parking (is like 2 minutes walk), the common kitchen and washing-machine were useful and the hostess was verry reasonable. It has a close super-market and tavernas that are close to walk by. And of course the good AC.

What stunning hidden gem of a hotel in a stunning hidden gem town! Facilities were great and onsite parking a bonus. Good little breakfast and super spacious rooms. Pool was great for a cooldown.

Dimos the manager went out if his way to make us feel welcome. He was exceptionally friendly, hospitable and accommodating. We would recommend anyone traveling to Crete to stay here. A beautiful little town with warm and generous hosts.

Very cozy and quiet hotel with friendly and helpful owner and staff. Stunning view to the mountain's. Lovely cats walking around. Big pool, where you can easily swim. Perfect localization. We always prefer small familiy objects instead of big modern hotels, because only there you are able to feel the spirit of the Crete.

The location is beautiful — right by the beach, quiet, and...

The location is beautiful — right by the beach, quiet, and peaceful. The view from the balcony is lovely, and the area feels very local and authentic. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing because there was no hot water during our entire stay . We contacted the host twice, but the problem was never fixed. For the price we paid (€130 per night), this was really unacceptable. If the management improves their maintenance and communication, it could be a great place — but right now, I can’t recommend it.

The city beach is very nice and sandy.

The city beach is very nice and sandy. If you want to be all alone, there are more than sufficient space on the long beach towards Agia Galini. Very good resturants and beach bars.. Beautiful sunsets. Lots of good accomodations

Lovely long, shallow sandy beach with lots of sun loungers.

Lovely long, shallow sandy beach with lots of sun loungers. Good harbour. Free sun loungers - if you buy a cup of coffee. Good restaurants. Recommend En Plo. Fabulously good barbecue food, both fish and meat. Short distance to many attractions.

A small village with a lovely promenade, but a narrow beach and consistently rough seas with opaque water. There are four tavernas and two cocktail lounges. A car is essential; there's nothing here.

There are certainly more beautiful places on the island, but...

There are certainly more beautiful places on the island, but this apartment has everything you need and avoids the tourist crowds found in other towns. It's sunny all day long. The apartment is in a lovely location just outside the town, offering stunning sunsets.

Really nice and clean apartment.

Really nice and clean apartment. It has a lovely, spacious pool. All the basic necessities were provided. The area is pleasant and quiet. You're among the locals, super friendly people. The beach is a minute away, with 6 or 7 restaurants and bars along the beach. Matina, the landlord, is super friendly and takes care of everything for you.
