Really recommended place! A new hotel that thinks about all the little details. clean and tidy, Modern design. The hotel is located above an avenue of shops and restaurants, a few minutes' walk from the beach. There is an arranged parking lot behind the hotel. We had a great time. When we arrived on the first day, we were very happy to find cold water in the fridge, tired from the trip. The apartment was very clean. We had our sheets changed just when we needed them. Breakfast was varied and rich. Very close to the beach (1 min walk), beautiful view from the room, we could see the sea. The terrace of the apartment great, we could play family games. Everything very well organized and the hospitality of the staff was superlative.

Everything in the rooms were very nice and cozy, the hotel is close to the sea and in the same time near to the main street with markets, shops and restaurants. Parking is right a front. Also, I would like to mention that the owner is a very helpful and friendly person, who pays a lot of attention to the details. I would be happy to come back to this palace again!

    As a base it’s ok to explore the surrounding beaches, that said I wasn’t impressed with the beaches either but then I had just come from Halkidiki, Sithonia and the beaches there are beautiful so perhaps I’m being a bit unfair. Skotinis beach and in the opposite direction le moon beach bar on Mylos beach were my favourites. Platamonas is nice to have dinner & a walk one night. As is Nei Pori. Leptokarya itself is bigger than you think but just feels run down somehow. Not a place I’d go back to.

    Leptokaria is great for families with kids as it's safe and all facilities are available. We didn't use the local beach,we visited by car all beaches around as my daughter is still small and didn't like small stones on the beach in Leptokaria. I highly recommend the The Olympus Geological History Museum, it's an extremly interesting place(rather for older kids/adults).

    Leptokaria is one of the cities that really suit your needs...

    Leptokaria is one of the cities that really suit your needs if you like to visit many places in Pieria like Platamon, Skotina, Olympus mountain , Dion etc Sea is not excellent but i would suggest to have a car and drive to close by beaches. It has a long road with full touristic stores ( maybe interesting for the foreigners ) and lots of cafeterias , restaurants, playgrounds I would suggest for 3-4 d vacation

    It's a lively and a beautiful city that has grown a lot over the past 20 years. It's divided in two parts. The part of the city by the beach (mainly the tourist part) and the part where people live and kids go to school and families to church ... There are a lot of restaurants, local shops, greek markets and a LIDL. The prices are much cheaper than on Halkidiki, which makes it a perfect vacation place. It has a beautiful sandy beach with bars but also a lot of free space to lay your own ammenities. And if you get bored (which I don't see how) there are places nearby that you can try ex. Maze Maze bar in Litochoro, The Byzantine Castle of Platamon or maybe even New Poroi.
