Charming and somewhat unspoilt Greek Town.
Charming and somewhat unspoilt Greek Town. The quayside is very pretty with lots of Tavernas to choose from enjoying great views of the bay and mountains beyond. Gets busier around the lively central square with variety of bars, restaurants and shops to choose from. Very Mediterranean feel with all age groups out and about enjoying themselves. During the evening the road is closed so pedestrians and restaurant staff can walk around freely. Ample free parking either end of the pedestrian zone. There's also a ferry to Argostoli which runs every 30 mins and takes 20 mins which is very handy - wish we had a chance to do this as Argostoli is worth the visit.Guest review byWiesUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Been to Kefalonia twice before but enjoyed Lixouri far more than Skala or Lassi. Lovely laid back feel to the seafront restaurants on an evening. Good selection of restaurants and bars. Was cheaper to eat out than cooking for yourself. Highly recommended. Hired a boat for 2 half days to explore around the bay and found private coves etc.Guest review byMatthewUnited Kingdom

Everything is absolutely perfect from the lovely pool to the view from the terrace to the modern and well equipped kitchen and bedrooms. The hosts are super helpful and welcoming and helped us have a fantastic stay in Kefalonia. Loved being able to walk into the town for dinner / lunch and our son loved the quick ferry across the bay to Argostoli. Lots of beautiful beaches and places to visit very close too. Had everything you would need including aircon, fully fitted kitchen even a washing machine which was a real bonus 😉 Great central location, just walking distance to bars restaurants. A small beach 5 mins away where we found a great friendly beach bar. The owner Antonia & her brother were so nice, friendly & helpful.
