Probably one of the nicest place in Crete.

Probably one of the nicest place in Crete. In the south-east this small village with harbor and several taverns direct on the sea, which serve excellent food at a reasonable price has no overtourism until now. At the beautiful 3 km sandy beach, many very nice private App direct on the beach or above the harbor in the old town offer perfect locations to stay. Only at the end of the sandy beach away from the rest of accommodations a hotel complex offers an all inclusive stay.

tutto perfetto, nessuna osservazione negativa! It was a happy stay in a very well-kept place! New and very well-kept apartment, convenient to the main roads but in a very quiet place. In a moment you can reach the best places of that splendid corner of Crete

We went out of season, reason being work from April until...

We went out of season, reason being work from April until November. It was just what we were looking for quiet, peaceful. A few bars for drinks, cocktails and a few places to eat. Most others were closed, but really did not matter to us. Ideal base for visiting Vai beach and other places of interest.

Beautiful place to stay, relaxed but with a good choice of...

Beautiful place to stay, relaxed but with a good choice of places to walk, eat and take in the sun. Try The Green Beach, it has a small restaurant down partly on the beach. A lovely quiet place to read a book in peace with crystal clear sea.

Makrygialos is absolutely lovely.

Makrygialos is absolutely lovely. The main beach is great and is perfect for children. We ate out every lunch and dinner time. Fantastic selection of restaurants. Found them very reasonable; you can eat cheaply or spend more if you wish. You can walk around Makrygialos very easily and everything you need is there. You won't find nightclubs or noisy bars! It is very much a family holiday environment. You need a car to get there or a taxi and definitely if you want to do some sightseeing.

Lovely peaceful place with a safe clean beach and plenty of places to eat. I don't think that there is a more friendly place in Crete and I am only sorry that it took us so long to find it. We are going to try and visit every year for as long as we are able to.

Located in an idyllic corner of Crete, a stones throw from a gorgeous rocky beach, this modern well apportioned apartment provided an exceptional base during our two week stay for our young family of 5 to explore the area. It had everything that was required, and the views created a sense of space and peace that is unmatched. The owners communication was excellent and his Father was incredibly friendly and charming. 100% recommend this place and this part of Crete for all kinds of exploration and activities!

I recently stayed at this lovely hotel and was thoroughly impressed with the amenities. The kitchen facilities were top-notch, allowing for convenient meal prep. Moreover, the breathtaking sea view from my room was a true highlight, offering a tranquil and picturesque backdrop. The hotel's garden was a peaceful oasis, perfect for a morning stroll or evening relaxation. Strongly recommended to everyone.

I’ve stayed here two years ago and came back again this summer. This place is a dream. Surrounded by nature, tranquil gardens, gorgeous rooms, and in a perfect location. The owner Emma is so lovely and helped us with our stay, also with great recommendations. Definitely the best place to stay in the area - and the best place I’ve ever stayed in Crete!

As a family of four, with two kids, age 5 and 2, it was an incredibly comfortable stay. All inclusive was so well organized, that even though our younger kid had a nap during lunchtime, we always had numerous options in the beach bar, later throughout the day. Although the hotel was fully packed, we never had an issue to find sunbeds on the beach.
