What an amazing place for relaxing and forgetting the world exists, would reccommend this hidden gem to everyone, location is amazing, a 7 minute walk to the most beautiful lake, a taverna with fabulous cuisine right on the doorstep. We will be back in September.

Excellent lodging. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. It is an ideal place to rest and cook your own food. Stela is very kind and gave us very accurate information about the lodge and made us feel at home. The local people were very hospitable and, in addition to serving us very cordially, they offered us drinks and local food. They also gave us valuable information to enjoy our visit to the island such as the location of beaches and places of interest. We are very satisfied. The people of this community are Kind and have lot of beautiful landscapes. Stela was one of the best host that we ever have We will come back :)

Breakfast was good and the location was quiet. Parking is just on the side of a building and was not enough for a couple of nights so we parked the street. Town is quiet which good restaurants within walking distance and groceries. The staff was friendly but I am not sure the hotel should be open during the holidays if the staff don't want to work during the holidays. Bed was comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay! The room was beautifully furnished and very clean, with a comfortable bed. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. The pool area was lovely and perfect for relaxing, and the whole place is very quiet and peaceful – ideal for a relaxing holiday. Highly recommended!

Vasilis is a most charming host and has renovated the old farmhouse to create beautiful, rustic apartments. The olive wood flooring is stunning. He serves a great optional breakfast. There were spare blankets - we were there in late March and the apartment could be a little chilly in the evening but there was heating. We didn’t cook, it was the start of our holiday and the village of Archanes is known for its tavernas. It was a very easy drive to Iraklion to visit some of the museums. This was a very good place to stay.
