Fantastic view from the room. We were so lucky to stay here. We were looking forward to seeing great and worldwide sunset from the best position and here is the best position! You can see sunset from Oia castle, however, you can dominate the view from here. I would recommend staying here if you want to avoid crowds and dominate the view. The room and in-room pool were clean. There is a large basins in bathroom.

After lot of searching I decided to book at Hom, it is 5 minutes walk from a free car park. ( really if you drive to Oia you better park in here) Everyone was extremely friendly and supper attentive. The room match the expectation, the breakfast was delicious( you choose what you want to eat). From the other you make a great walk to the other side of Oia. This side of the city for me is the perfect location, you have privacy. I’m glad I made that choice after seen how crowded the “center” of Oia is.

Before our arrival, the hotel helped us to arrange the pick-up service from the airport. When we arrived at the hotel pick-up point, the local post office, they helped us to carry our heavy luggages to the hotel. It’s really difficult to carry two big heavy luggages to walk through the alleys, the hotel is located at the cliff, they really saved us!!! The receptionist was so nice and polite, we really appreciate their service!!! The apartment is perfectly equipped! The design attracted us a lot! The view of Thera is so amazing. We nearly spent our whole day in the hotel, because the view from the room is so perfect that we don’t need to go out for sightseeing. The only pity was that the room was so popular that we only can book one night! I will return!!! BTW, the breakfast was so delicious and delicate!!!

Oia is all about the view. Spectacular. It is packed with tourists for a well deserved reason. It is totally touristy, expensive, but we can overlook that and the crowds because of that view. Finikia, just adjacent is much quieter. Still, Oia is Oia, only one. Very much recommend Roka restaaurant.

We loved staying in Oia, mid October had perfect weather! The crowds were not too bad expect for when the cruise ships came in, we avoided the town from 10am to around 1:00pm, evenings during the sunsets it gets crowded but it worth it to watch the sun go down, the sky lights up and is so beautiful, you can't miss it. Schedule a catamaran or private boat cruise, we highly recommend getting on the water to see it from the sea. Great shops and restaurants, you have to have the gelato at Lolita's, it's the best I've ever had!

Everything in Oia is great - it’s so beautiful that not even the crowds are a problem! There are so many wonderful cafes and restaurants that you’re spoilt for choice. Definitely recommend one of the sunset cruises and also touring the wineries and archeological centre in Akrotiri.

Crowded with cruise ship visitors but only during mid-point of day. Once we figured out layout, easy to get around. Lots of stairs, so be prepared. All was welcoming. Especially all the tours and guides. Wine-tasting and catamaran tours great. E-bike was a bit more difficult than I anticipated - but probably more about my fitness level - not the tour. Tour guide really looked out for me. Santorini exceeded our expectations.

Oia is stunning, especially at sunset, but in September it felt overrun with cruise ship crowds and influencers. We loved our simple apartment with its incredible views, starry nights, and the local cats and donkeys. Food and wine are excellent but expensive, and swimming isn’t easy without hiring a car or scooter. Beautiful to see once, but not ideal if you’re on a budget or want a relaxed swim-and-rest holiday.

The hotel receptionist was friendly and helpful, helped us with accommodation, and gave us some very useful advice on Santorini attractions. It only took 2 minutes to reach the pedestrian area of Oia. The breakfast menu was really interesting, and they served it in our suite every morning. The suite was clean, and the staff were really kind.
