Parga is a beautiful place, from the colorful houses, to the picturesque bay and water, to all the wonderful restaurants, to the castle hovering above the city. Shame that we couldnt explore the whole castle as it was closed off due to danger risks. Parga is like a hub for many boat excursions to nearby sites and other islands. I like that most people self cater or B&B therefore the resturants & bars are busy. The food is the best in Greece that I’ve experienced. The people are very friendly. It is easy to get around but could be a problem if you have mobility issues. Parga completely stole my heart! It’s such a romantic and charming town, perfect for evening strolls through the colorful streets and watching the sunset from the castle. The crystal-clear beaches are amazing for a relaxing day together, and the tavernas offer delicious food with a cozy atmosphere. Easy for the taxi boats to 3 beautiful beaches and very easy at night as many hotels and apartments in Parga involve a late night walk up some steep hills. Room was cleaned and serviced everyday and had everything we needed.
