The room was amazing with a nice view, clean, towel changed everyday, comfortable bed. Everything that you need. Breakfast was tasty, with different types of dishes. Hotel staff helpful at any moment. We enjoyed it a lot.

We spent a week in Maria's apartment, and we were very good. The room is wide and bright, and it also has air conditioning. Under the apartment, there is a parking place reserved for the clients. The place is ideal because it lies halfway between the Matala's beaches and the Kommos'. For those who want to see cultural places, Pitsidia is an hour by car from Iraklion, the capital of the island, 50 minutes from Knossos, 30 minutes from the archaeological site of Gortys and the Museum of Messara, 15 minutes from the famous Phaistos.

Nikos the manager was loveley and so helpful. He recommended restaurants, activities and a local cook (Maria) who delivered home made food to the apartment which was delicious! The apartment itself was modern, spacious and clean with fantastic quiet aircon for a great nights sleep and essentials provided on arrival. The pool area was relaxing, clean and modern with a STUNNING view! Definitely recommend for a chill holiday with friends or family.

The apartment was great, near port of Souda and a 15 min drive from Chania. The host was very nice and arranged a baby cot for our 8 months old daughter. The area is very quiet and she slept great. You can keep the rooms completely dark with the outside blinds. Everything was perfect.

We had the most wonderful two weeks at Villa D'Anvers in Chania. The villa is an absolute gem—modern, impeccably equipped, and designed for ultimate comfort. Every corner of the house exudes style and functionality, making it a true home away from home. The peace and tranquility of the location are unmatched, and the breathtaking views are something we’ll never forget. Whether relaxing by the pool or enjoying the sunset from the terrace, every moment felt magical. In all our years of traveling to every corner of Greece, this has probably been the best villa we’ve ever stayed in. What truly made our stay exceptional, however, was the warmth and kindness of our hosts, Christine and Nihat. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, attentive to every detail, and always ready with helpful suggestions. We can’t recommend Villa D'Anvers enough—perfect for anyone seeking luxury, serenity, and a genuinely unforgettable experience in Chania.

The apartment is modern and nicely furnished, with a clean and minimalist design. The location was convenient – quiet, yet close to shops, restaurants, and the city center. The air conditioning worked well, which was very important during the hot summer days. The beds were comfortable and linens were clean and fresh. The kitchen had essential appliances like a coffee maker, toaster, and kettle , all very helpful. Communication with the host was smooth and check-in was easy.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful- from the reception staff to the young lady in the bar to the housekeepers. The parking in the underground garage was so convenient, the hotel is in pristine condition and the location was an easy coastal walk to everything.

The place was very modern. On arrival at the place, we were greeted by professional and friendly staff. They also talked us through the room facilities and gave us a complimentary sparkling wine. The massage therapist Maria was also amazing in the spa sessions. Extremely professional and we felt so much more relaxed after the therapy session :) 100% recommending their spa facilities. We will definitely book again when we come to Chania again.

From Souda, the bus is ~10 minutes to Chania for 1.60€ only.

From Souda, the bus is ~10 minutes to Chania for 1.60€ only. No need for rental car nor searching for parking -- just take bus. Use rental car for pleasure scenic routes into mountains especially Milo's Restaurant. But only during sunlight, not at night!! The trip there is well worthwhile for the food & service, the trip itself is adventurous, scenic & breathtaking because of height.

if your staying in the souda area, dont use the taxi...

if your staying in the souda area, dont use the taxi services. just hop on the number 13 bus and its 2.50 euros to take you to and from chania. we made the mistake of taking a taxi to our apartment from the airport and it was 50 euros. trust me itll take the same amount of time waiting for the bus as it will waiting for a taxi.

Souda is 6 km from Chania.

Souda is 6 km from Chania. It’s close enough to the airport & some nice nearby beaches. It is the main port of Chania from where ferry & cruise liners berth . It is essentially a naval military port. A quiet little local town.

A very nice place with excellent view to the sea and...

A very nice place with excellent view to the sea and mountains. A new and modern building on the top of the mountain. At the property we found everything we needed: a well equiped kitchen, confortable beds, modern design and technique, good WiFi, a nice terrace with a place for barbeque. The swimming pool outside was very clean and the water was of a confortable temperature. Owners of the property surprised us with a welcoming backet containing olive oil, sweets, coffe and other suff. This place is perfect for relax. We wish to come back some day.

Excellent friendly helpful staff.

Excellent friendly helpful staff. Very comfortable bed with superb bathroom facilities. Used local cheap reliable bus to visit Chania. Very interesting area which we were unable to see much of as only there one night en route to other areas in Crete. Hope to return one day!

1. Excellent location - perfectly nestled between Chania and Souda, and in the proximity of Souda Bay beach. 2. Living conditions - both inside and outside - surpass any of the other properties. Luxury interiors and great garden and grill place. Parking spot super convenient too. 3. Cleanness - perfectly clean, as new. 4. Level of equipment - all household appliances were available for a long term stay, reducing the potential for costs. 5. Staff attitude - exemplary and professional, while being available regardless of day time.

Perfect stay, very safe as a single female traveler. One minute walk from ferry port or bus to Chania or Heraklion/Rethymno. Local restaurants on the doorstep - Fournaki has fantastic food and cheap. The apartment was excellent, extremely clean, overlooking Souda Square and the ferry port. There was a power shower and plenty of spare towels and bath mats left out.

A comfortable, very clean, equipped, big apartment with a parking place, as seen in the photos of the site. Anastasia, the hostess, very kind, friendly and helpful with everything we asked for. Very good location near Souda harbour. Very near to cafes, bakery , supermarket and shops. 10 minutes from Chania and 15 minutes from airport. Highly recommended.

I loved how the hotel was in a central part of Souda however, was not noisy and could enjoy peaceful evenings in the balcony. Me and my friend also enjoyed how friendly and helpful the staff are as they always tried to help us as best as they could whenever we needed any help.
