A beautiful, quiet, clean and comfortable place. Evgenia is a wonderful person who helps you whenever you need it. 2-3 minutes on foot to a small beach, with sand and stones at the entrance to the water, 5-6 to the main beach, where you also have a beach bar and showers, a combination of sand and stones at the entrance to the water. Few taverns and small shops, but I assumed this, knowing that I choose to spend the first week in an area with a lot of peace, to recharge my batteries. I could say that peace was invented at Stratoni. I really wanted this very much. I recommend the location to anyone looking for peace, especially to families with children, who do not have many temptations. Thank you Evgenia for a wonderful week and for yuca.

Anastasia is a fabulous host and provided everything for an enjoyable stay. The room was perfect and calm with a nice balcony over a pretty garden. Stratonio is a very good destination for a relaxing holiday with a good beach and some walks. Anastasia was very friendly and even made the best Spanakopita I had in Greece.

The room was great - beautiful decoration, enough space, nice balcony! And size of bathroom is good ;) The room was cleaned every day. Staff is really nice, helped us all the time. We liked the food and we actually like that you can choose something from the menu. The restaurant near the sea, we really like the view and that we can go to swim any time! Highly recommend for somebody who looking for quiet nice place with great people!

Our stay at Rafaelo Pool Side Villas was absolutely amazing. The villa was spotless, modern, and spacious, with our own private pool – a true luxury that made the entire experience so relaxing and special. Everything was perfectly maintained and felt very private and peaceful. A big thank you to our host, who was incredibly warm, helpful, and welcoming. He made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay and even recommended a fantastic restaurant called Karavopetra, which he also owns. It was one of the best dining experiences we had during our trip. The food was authentic, flavorful Greek cuisine, the service was excellent, and we were even treated to a complimentary bottle of wine – a lovely and generous gesture. 🙏❤️ Highly recommend Rafaelo Pool Side Villas if you’re looking for peace, privacy, great service, and a taste of genuine Greek hospitality. We’ll definitely be back!

Stratoni is industrial town not very used to tourism,...

Stratoni is industrial town not very used to tourism, however due to long history and cosmopolitan nature, all people are very nice and helpful. If you need full service beaches with crowds and night life don't go there try Stavros up to Orfanion side. If you search for calm place with empty beach and few places to visit during the evenings, we could only recommend it.

Interesting bars, nice bar on the beach, playgrounds for children. A peaceful place to rest. The beach itself is poorly maintained, the water is cloudy, I do not recommend swimming. 10 minutes from there you have Jerisos, where the beach is incomparably more beautiful and the water is clean.

A lovely rural spot.

A lovely rural spot. It has a small supermarket that's open until 9:30 pm daily, and you can really get everything you need. It's a quiet place. It was perfect for us. The neighbors were happy to have visitors. You can take many day trips from there.

You basically have nowhere to spend the evening... why?

You basically have nowhere to spend the evening... why? Because there are only a handful of restaurants and not much else. If you just like peace and quiet, it's OK, otherwise the city from a tourist point of view is ruined by the gold mining there.

We liked the quietness of the village and the friendliness...

We liked the quietness of the village and the friendliness of the residents. There are doubts about the quality of the sea water in the area but there are the wonderful beaches of Ierissos 15 minutes away.
