The staff were extremely friendly and helpful- from the reception staff to the young lady in the bar to the housekeepers. The parking in the underground garage was so convenient, the hotel is in pristine condition and the location was an easy coastal walk to everything.

The place was very modern. On arrival at the place, we were greeted by professional and friendly staff. They also talked us through the room facilities and gave us a complimentary sparkling wine. The massage therapist Maria was also amazing in the spa sessions. Extremely professional and we felt so much more relaxed after the therapy session :) 100% recommending their spa facilities. We will definitely book again when we come to Chania again.

We couldn't have been happier with our choice of a hotel! It's located a few kilometers outside of the center and the old town but this was only a positive thing for us - lying by the pool (a big and clean pool for that matter) it was actually calm and quiet with only some birdsong to be heard. The hotel also provided a free shuttle every half an hour to the center and back so the distance was not an issue whatsoever. The staff was a m a z i n g, I can't compliment them enough. It must've been the warmest welcome I've received at any hotel, in any country, and they kept being so genuinely kind and helpful for our whole stay. The restaurant upstairs offers you the best sunset view in town and we actually ended up having dinner there almost every night since the food was also great there. The breakfast buffet was so great as well, with a big variety of food and omelets made to order. If (and hopefully, when) I return to Chania, I will definitely stay at Royal Sun again.

What an amazing little family run hotel right on the port. Absolutely everything was fantastic from time of check in to departure after an amazing breakfast. We travel a lot and stay in amazing properties but this small 3☆ hotel could teach many other hotels on how to do it right. We had no choice of room as it was fully booked and that was sad as it was a bit small for the 2 of us but as you are never in the room who cares. Beds and pillows super comfortable and good size showers. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, the best we have had in Crete as everything fresh and cooked to perfection. Parking available behind the hotel which was a big plus.

We had an absolutely wonderful vacation at Selected Suites in Chania, Crete. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed and taken care of. The hotel itself is modern, spotless, and beautifully designed – everything was even better than we expected. Our suite was spacious, stylish, and very comfortable, with all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay. The steam room was a great bonus! The location is also excellent, just a short walk from the beach, shops, and restaurants, yet still peaceful and quiet at night. What truly made our stay unforgettable was the amazing staff – especially Abdel. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and happy throughout our stay. His kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail really stood out, and we can’t thank him enough for his outstanding hospitality. We will absolutely return to Selected Suites and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect place to stay in Chania. Five stars from us!

It was very tranquil but the beach area was perfect....not...

It was very tranquil but the beach area was perfect....not very large but very sandy so easy to swim from and seemed safe for children...more fish than we thought. Beach bar was low key but just perfect. The local restaurant was a lovely setting, the staff were enthusiastic and nice and we enjoyed the evening there even though the food was not outstanding. Further up the to main road are more restaurants. Irenes had rave reviews but have to say we were most disappointed - again nice staff but chaos as food came all at different times and rather chaotic 0 can be charming as in holidays but this was taken to the limit. Everyone we met were lovely and most hospitable

The bed was very comfortable here - two fluffy pillows for both people, a good mattress, well-smelling sheets. The location is just perfect - close to the airport, but the neighborhood is quiet and private, wild nature all around, peaceful atmosphere, other visitors were also peaceful and quiet. The apartment and balconies were just perfect, there is nothing to complain about. I recommend it to those who want to find ideal and comfortable accommodation away from crowded places and appreciate the beauty of nature.

We loved staying at Tersanas Beach Lodges!

We loved staying at Tersanas Beach Lodges! The place is beautiful (it looks even better in real life), the pool is amazing and the view is absolutely to die for. The studio was very comfy and had all the utilities we needed. The cherry on top of the cake is the staff. They’re absolutely delightful! Georgina and Peter were super helpful and friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. It’s been an absolute pleasure! We didn’t have a car or a bike but the place is an easy walk to Tersanas beach and only a 30 min walk to Stavros, and pretty easy to get to Chania by bus or taxi. I would 100% recommend staying here – we can’t wait to go back :)

The best part of this stay was the location, the view from the balcony and the beach you can walk to from the hotel. It was amazing just sitting on the balcony and enjoying the view. The kitchenette was very small, but good enough for one or two nights, or if you don't plan on doing any serious cooking. The host was very friendly and check-in was easy. If you don't mind the things I listed below, I think you will enjoy your stay here. Bonus: Only a 15-drive to the airport!

Perfect for our arrival hotel and the beginning of our road trip through Crete. Apartment was well equipped, comfortable, quiet and clean. Located out of main hub - but we chose this intentionally. Pool and bar area pleasant - watching the sunset was a highlight. Plenty of free parking.

This was our third visit to Nostalgia and we had a brilliant time! The hosts are an amazing family who are so kind, accommodating and keep the apartments very clean. Wr loved the sea view, sunsets, peace and quiet and also the sunshine!
