very modern and great location! only a 5 minute walk from Aristotelis square and the street it is on has lots of good eateries and markets around. The staff were always so welcoming and in good spirits and they really took care of their customers! They were happy to help with extra nights or booking taxis or providing cleaning services etc.

The port is the greatest treasure of the city, it opens up magical views of breathtaking and magical sunsets. AVOID at all costs the Minerva Premier Hotel, it's total fraud. Best hotels: Hotel El Greco, Hotel Mandrino. Must visit: The Tiki Boat Klio, The Arabella, these are the unforgettable boats in the port worth visiting. The location was perfect, an easy walk to most of Thessaloniki's historical sites and surrounded by restaurants, one of which we found particularly good. The hotel (or it may have been Booking.com) had a taxi pick us up at the airport free of charge. The staff were pleasant and welcoming but not very competent, I'm afraid.
