We got a room upgrade so everything was great from the very start :)Breakfast has a variety of foods from sweet to savoury, and staff is always mindful of cleanliness and freshness of food. You can eat by the pool. The hotel has some parking spots next to it and there’s a larger unpaved parking towards the beach. Overall we were happy with our stay, the hotel is very clean and the beach is nearby.

The view from the hotel was spectacular! It was very near to the beach and we could also walk by food. We had everythink we needed for a pleasant stay. The hotel was right in the middle of the town which was great. There are bakery, supermarkets, souvenir shops and restaurants nearby. Vassilki is close to some of the most beautiful and famous beaches so the location is 10/10. It was very clean and the staff was very polite. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to visit Lefkada. We didn't get the chance to try the breakfast though. Nevertheless it was all great. :)

Everything was beyond expectations. The room is very clean and has new furniture, everyday the room is cleaned and they changed your sheets and towels. You have everything u need for a good staying. Have travelled here twice in the past year and can't wait to come back. It's absolutely gorgeous. There are so many beaches to visit and it's easy to get around. Everyone we met were very nice and helpful to reccomend locations/restaurants. I literally can't wait to go back. It's one of the few places in the world I have been to that brought me true peace and tranquility.

Such a stunning Greek village, good access to local beaches, they are all stoney not sandy so you need beach shoes. Easy to get the little ferry to Agiofili which is a lovely beach. Nice to rent a car to see some more of the island. Lots of windsurfing, sailing, wing foiling opportunities if you're into that. Can hire bikes too. Super friendly and unpretentious, recommend it!

Next to the beach, there is a wide pedestrian promenade with bars and restaurants. The harbor area is very beautiful. The atmosphere is pleasant, although in the evening it can get quite crowded. There are many shops with a wide variety of products, so you can find almost everything you need. The beach is pebbly, so it’s not possible to walk barefoot, but once you get into the water the seabed is covered with fine sand. Prices are reasonable — for example, two sunbeds with an umbrella cost €10.

Vasiliki is a relatively cheap resort on the island of Lefkada. There are all the facilities - restaurants, car hire, etc. It has a long organised beach excellent for windsurfers. It is close to the three excellent snorkelling beaches Ammoussa, Afteli, and Agiofili, reachable by car. Against that, it is at the very south of the island and therefore a long way from other destinations. It takes about 40 mins by car to get to the capital city which is also called Lefkada. Some people may be put off by the windiness of the beach. Other beaches nearby are more sheltered.

Vassiliki is a vibrant small village with relaxed people who are mainly there for sailing and windsurfing. So they create also this relaxed vibe. The tavernas are great but bit pricey, at least for us. They tend to increase the prices every year regardless if there is inflation or deflation.

Had everything one could want. I was paddle boarding and generally early morning was delightfully still with strong breezes rarely picking up before mid day. I happily bought all my food etc from one of the local supermarkets.

The Grand Nefeli is an excellent hotel, situated literally on the beach. The room we had was very spacious, modern, and with sea views. The staff was really friendly. The included breakfast was astonishing. Home-made pastries, eggs, bacon, sausages, salads, fruits, cheese, yogurt. The beach in front of the hotel was sandy (not pebbles). The hotel had beach chairs where you were offered drinks and food. Vasiliki, where the hotel is, has a natural protected bay where you can do windsurfing or sail with small catamarans.

Perfect and quite location for touring the wonderful island of Lefkada,staying in south you can choose to go towards east or west beaches,just in front of the house you have the very nice Vasiliki sandy beach,owners are very kind and available for anything you might need,the lady Dina present us fresh eggs from her chickens,Johanna the daughter in law gave us the best apartment of the house,large and comfortable,with a wonderful terrace and a faboluos view on the Vasiliki bay

Yannis, our host, was amazing! From giving us tips re places to visit in Lefkada to surprise food treats delivered to our door. Our accommodation was perfect. We had the most amazing balcony with fabulous views over Vasiliki harbour. Watching the yachts became our daily routine! It felt like the best seat in the house.
