Very kind staff, awesome breakfast with some almond homemade cake! Rooms are simple but clean and tidy, 10 minutes away from the archeological site and the beach. Zakro is off limits for the tourist buses.. a good place to spend a couple of days! Excellent quality/ price. Thanks a lot!

Host is the kindest person on the planet. The house is so well decorated you fill like in a fairy tale. I have no words enough for the hospitality I received. Thank you!!! It's also really close to the seaside, you can go on foot. One of the best places I've been to in Xerokampos, and I have been to several.

Extremely nice and friendly guests, the apartment is spacious, well equipped, clean and comfortable. Perfectly located between the beach and Paleokastro, we had a car but it’s also possible to walk there.

The location is excellent. Kato Zakros is the perfect place to relax. Even in the middle of the summer, it is not crowded. It has some small, but delicious and relatively cheap restaurants next to the beach. The Zakros Minoan palace is a 5-minute walk from the property. The exit of the Gorge of the Dead is two minutes away. Xerokampos, which is famous for its sandy beaches, is a 20-minute drive. The property itself is excellent for a family; it is clean, it has all the facilities you may need, and has a perfect view to the sea.

A tiny but charming village, its little square is a popular...

A tiny but charming village, its little square is a popular meeting place for locals who mingle with tourists at the café tables. It's breezy and cool, and there's a well-stocked market in front of the Zakros Hotel. The staff are extremely friendly. The food at the Zakros Hotel is excellent! Ask for the special of the day!

First of all, the owner is a wonderful person!!

First of all, the owner is a wonderful person!! He deserves many congratulations for the decoration of the house which is wonderful!! The house is incredible! It has a wonderful view and is very functional! And most importantly, it is spotlessly clean!! If you go there, you will hardly be able to leave it!! I could stay there permanently!

Zakros is a charming mountain village with several small grocery stores and tavernas. The surrounding area offers excellent hiking opportunities (E4 trail), and you can also easily walk or drive to Kato Zakros, 6km away, for swimming.
