This place and its staff are a true gem in Antigua. The rooms are beautifully decorated, the A/C works perfectly, and the beds are spacious and very comfortable. What truly stands out is how attentive the team and Gustav (the owner) are to every request. We used their shuttle service to get directly from the airport to the hotel, which was quick and convenient. One of our group members forgot their passport — a scary situation at the start of a trip — but Gustav responded immediately, even at 1 a.m., to reassure us, and then delivered the passport the next morning free of charge. Later, when one of our rooms had an issue with a window, the team immediately moved us to a new room without any hassle. Excellent service all around — highly recommended!

I loved everything about this hotel. The territory is a dream. It’s absolutely stunning. The room was beautiful. The breakfast menu was extensive and delicious and the staff were very helpful. The security is impeccable. I could leave my bags at the reception after having checked out. The internet worked well and everything just seemed so well thought.

Beautiful colonial architecture, bookstores, lots of things...

Beautiful colonial architecture, bookstores, lots of things to do both in the city and on the outskirts -- visit a volcano, visit a finca, etc. Great restaurants -- La Condesa for breakfast, Adobe for dinner and drinks, Sobremesa for ice cream. Felt overcrowded at times and too many cars, they should have a no car zone around the plaza at least some of the time. Antigua would benefit by limiting cars.

There is so much to do and see in this beautiful colonial town, it is indicated a World Heritage location. Much charm from hundreds of years ago and a modern beautiful McDonald's tucked into a colonial mansion!! Ruins to see, shops, a bustling food market is a MUST! Even a clothes market where items are quite cheap, if you need some shoes or sweater, check the "pacas" first before something new. Great food AND COFFEE!!

Not everyone was bad but it's a racist country. I came from America, I know racist when I see it, if I met 10 people 8 of them looked at me in a funny way or did not responded when I said Bueno dia.

Beautiful town with amazing views of the surrounding mountains and volcano. Short drive from airport, definitely recommend making the drive during daylight hours - either to or from airport. Antiqua offers all your needs from churches, Starbucks and plenty of food options.

I liked Antigua but I feel like businesses take advantage of tourists. I went during flower festival and it took 5 hours to get from the airport to Antigua. If you do go to Antigua expect to spend a lot of money

Antigua is a great location to get a taste of Guatemala.

Antigua is a great location to get a taste of Guatemala. It is easily accessible by private or collective vans from the Guatemala City airport. It is a very safe place to visit for single women or tourists traveling for the first time to Guatemala. The city is very walkable but be aware that the traffic in the streets has the right of way, so be careful stepping off the curb to cross the street. I love walking the streets and visiting the old church ruins. The Markets are full of local goods from Guatemalan artisans. If you have time the local interior market is an adventure worth exploring. The area has a multitude of great restaurants and places to eat. It's a good place to spend a few days, or just use it as a stop on your way to other parts of Guatemala.

I loved my stay here. Honestly one of the best hostels I have been so far. The staff was so friendly and welcoming so that I extended my stay for almost 10 days. Everything was clean, there were enough toilets and showers. Tasty breakfast. The staff was honestly great and speaks fluent English. Thanks especially to Carli and Majo. The best for me was the roof top terrace that was so calm - so I came there to work everyday. Also you can see the fuego break out from here. Very good internet. For me important as digital nomad.

The location is very good. Close enough to the main park but on a residential street so it's very quiet. Also only a few minutes walk to La Union. The breakfast was great, and good value for money. There are activities every night. My first night I went to trivia night at a nearby restaurant with the staff and a guest. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Easy to arrange transportation. Lots of info for tours, buses, shuttles.
