Where to start. I was welcomed by Mattia and shown around and to my room. Everything felt tranquil and like an oasis. My room was large, had air conditioning and a spacious private balcony with lovely views of the setting sun and surrounding hills. The bathroom was large with a roll top bath tub. The part I stayed in was a newly renovated addition and also had the pool nearby. Being a vegetarian hotel I was trepidatious as regards the evening meals, but both nights were incredible! Three courses created by an artist! The surroundings only added to the ambience. It's on my list of places to stay again.

The apartment was very well equipped and in a very nice setting. It would be especially nice in summer as it is in the foothills of the mountain range. I think this property is astounding value for money. Other properties in the area are much more expensive.

A wonderful place to visit in the summer.

A wonderful place to visit in the summer. Not too crowded, with plenty of things to do. I walked around all the lakes, climbed Preradovićev vrh and visited Spilja Vrelo. All that with my dog who was welcome everywhere. Great coffee at Infinity bar on a beautiful terrace in the city centre and an amazing grilled cheese sandwich in Royal food (next to Infinity). For an excellent cup of coffee and a slice of cheesecake visit Čoka by the lake Bajer, on the waterfront.

Beautifully landscaped gardens, everything is full of flowers. There are famous picnic areas nearby, beautiful promenades, lakes for swimming. Excellent coffee in cafes. Well-stocked shop, has everything you need. A small complaint is the trucks that pass through the center through narrow streets. I think they should work on a bypass.

The town is nice and is located next to Lake Bajer.

The town is nice and is located next to Lake Bajer. Nearby is the Vrelo cave and a promenade around the lake. Restaurants and shops are unjustifiably more expensive than elsewhere in the interior. What kind of ingredients do they get for pizza that costs 10 euros while elsewhere it costs 7-8 euros? It seems to me that people are more greedy than they should be, but I guess that's the Croatian reality today.

Fužine cannot be considered a city, because we escaped from...

Fužine cannot be considered a city, because we escaped from the big city, but it is certainly a place worth exploring in any season. We visited Fužine during the winter holidays, and although the Vrelo cave was closed, the walk around the lake, being in nature and the change of environment makes a person more aware of the moment. Kroatis shop has the best donuts there are!!!

The place is great and we have no complaints...we had coffee every day at the Bitoraj hotel where the staff is wonderful...the tourist board is always helpful with their advice...it's close to Rijeka and Trsat which we visited...all in all great

Fužine is a pleasant place in Gorski Kotar with a lot of amenities in the town itself, and it is also very close to other towns and villages in Gorski Kotar, and is close to the sea. There are many hiking and cycling routes in the town and its surroundings, and many peaks to conquer.
