Fantastic stay! The staff were extremely warm and welcoming. The Villa was charming, spotless and very peaceful with a lovely garden and large terrace with shade. The place was a very short walk to the beach. The drive there was unexpectedly adventurous on a narrow windy cliff road with gorgeous views. We had booked four rooms as we were travelling with a large group of extended family (including two dogs) - the villa owners were very accommodating. There was a lovely dirt path behind the property that was great for a run/walk. 30min drive to lots of great restaurants although the villa also has good food on site.

The interaction with the owner Ivan and staff member. The fish dinner he cooked for us was superb. The vegetables were from his garden. The view was gorgeous and location fantastic. We even swam just in front, but the nearby lakes were a better spot. Easy bike hire and ride to Polace for groceries and bakery.

The host was nice and welcoming despite the fact she couldn’t speak English, but google helped to get the job done! 😊 The room was beautiful with a breathtaking view of the sea from the terrace (where we had our dinner!).

The house was super nice. Super clean, comfortable beds, good kitchen etc. And the swimming place in front of the house was amazing! I really liked it. So relaxing. And the owner of the place was super friendly. Nice restaurants near.

If you want to rest your mind and body, Apartments Vinko are the perfect place. Nestled in a peaceful little bay with a secluded beach, they offer stunning views from the terrace. Everything is spotless, well-equipped, and cared for with great attention. Mr. Vinko and his entire family are wonderfully kind and welcoming. We were fortunate to enjoy fish that Mr. Vinko himself caught and prepared - such a thoughtful and memorable gesture. We will definitely return to magical Mljet and Apartments Vinko. The national park is beautiful and peaceful.

The national park is beautiful and peaceful. You can swim in the lakes within the park which have an outlet to the ocean so they are salt water. The park is ideal for cycling and walking; electric bikes being particularly popular and easy to hire. Pomena is right by the entrance to the park and boasts some good restaurants with lovely views over the harbour. There is also a beach club nearby that belongs to a hotel but is also open to the public.
