A great holiday apartment to stay, owner family is super friendly and helpful. Apartment itself has all you need plus great view on the sea. Especially, the location is very nice - it is at the end of town, which means it gets the longest daylight and you can watch the sunset. The apartment has also a nice quay in front for swimming and laying in the sun in actually incredible nature surrounding.

Izabela is a great host with great communication. The apartment is in the perfect peaceful location to get around the island (and close to supermarket), it is clean and very nicely decorated. The swimming pool is great, with amazing views.

Marijana was a perfect host, offered me a coffee on arrival, showed me the place, helped with other things I needed and was so friendly and inviting. The area of this is beautiful, can easily hike to Veliki grad and Odysseus cave, no issues with finding it or parking. Lovely quiet place, the people in surrounding areas very friendly. Everything I needed inside the cave too. Great recommendation for the pizza place up the road, best pizza ever. For those who may not like cats, the cats are well fed and looked after and do not bother you at all, the cats and chickens are very funny to watch. The roosters can be loud sometimes in the morning but if it woke me I was easily able to go back to sleep. Absolutely loved this place I’d love to come back.

The national park is beautiful and peaceful.

The national park is beautiful and peaceful. You can swim in the lakes within the park which have an outlet to the ocean so they are salt water. The park is ideal for cycling and walking; electric bikes being particularly popular and easy to hire. Pomena is right by the entrance to the park and boasts some good restaurants with lovely views over the harbour. There is also a beach club nearby that belongs to a hotel but is also open to the public.

As nature lovers, we were very satisfied.

As nature lovers, we were very satisfied. The hiking and cycling trails were excellently signposted. The scenery was incomparably beautiful. However, prices in the restaurants and konobas were twice as high as on the mainland (we were shocked, as we've been coming to Croatia for a long time). Otherwise, everything was perfect!

Unspoiled nature, friendly people, expected hotel accommodation. Parking a car is problematic. Orientation and mastering the city is easy. I visited Saplunara and Limuni beach. Worth a visit.

We stayed in the town of Pomena, inside the National Park,...

We stayed in the town of Pomena, inside the National Park, and I would definitely recommend that destination because everything related to the National Park is close by, and on the other hand, there are a few more amenities and the promenade is nicer than other places on the island, and we visited them all.

Beautiful walks in a magical, calm, and relaxing place, far from the tourist crowds, around the lakes, on foot or by bike. Several hiking trails of varying lengths. Swimming in the lakes is paradise; the salt water at 28-29°C is pure bliss!

Parking at the hotel is VERY bad and anyone who parks is not...

Parking at the hotel is VERY bad and anyone who parks is not allowed to drive away, otherwise you will only be able to find a spot in a dusty, remote, rocky parking lot far from the hotel. The advertised beach within 350m of the hotel is a small beach by the lake, which is much further away.
