My first comment on this fantastic holiday home would have to be about our host (Milena) and her family who were so welcoming, friendly and helpful during our 8 night stay. Any questions were answered quickly and Milena gave us lots of suggestions which really enhanced our stay on this beautiful island. We stayed in a 3 bedroom villa right by the swimming pool pool (with addition sleeping space if needed) The villa was very modern and spacious. Upstairs on the roof of the villa was a private balcony/barbeque area with amazing views, a jacuzzi and a gas fired barbeque. We used this more than once and it was a really special eating lovely food whilst looking out over the sea and peninsula over to Zadar. Also beautiful sunsets not to miss! The house is very clean, well looked after and with plenty of towels, toiletries and bedding for the guests. The two bathrooms and shower rooms were also well stocked and having two bathrooms for four of us made life really easier. The swimming pool and garden are a lovely feature too. The swimming pool and games room are shared with other guests in the apartment complex but we swum alone every day as well as playing pool, table football darts etc. This is a really unusual feature to have access to in a holiday home and we loved it.. The gardens are great for those with younger children. The villa is in a very quiet and peaceful location. The most noise we heard was one night with the celebrations for Croatia Day. We joined in! But it isn't a place for loud parties I'd say but more for chilling and relaxing either inside or out on the balcony. There is a large well-stocked supermarket within 10-15 mins walking distance. It has drinks, a good range of fresh bread available all day. Fish available elsewhere. Beaches/Snorkelling from 10 mins walk away. Bars/restaurants a 10-30 min walk. We had no car but this wasn't an issue. Local bus took us all over the island. Taxi to the ferry was €30.

The location was perfect, just 3 mins from the nearest beach and 2 mins from bistro. Also appartmant equipment was good, we had everything what we needed for cooking, drying cloths and living overall. Personal was also helpful and for this price this accommodation was perfect.

The hotel was immaculate. The location is amazing, right on the seafront in Preko, just a short distance from the ferry port. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and cannot do enough to help you. The breakfast is delicious and I would highly recommend booking and eating in the restaurant for lunch or dinner.. the freshest fish cooked to perfection 👌🏻 There's space to lie and relax by the pool or the seafront and a sauna at the pool area. Rooms are clean and spacious. We had a terrace at the front with views over the sea.

The room was very comfortable, a great size, very clean and the decor was beautiful throughout the hotel. The family that run the hotel are very friendly and accommodating, giving great tips about the surrounding area. You must enjoy the breakfast at the hotel, it was fab. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hotel Stari Dvor on the island of Ugljan. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, which made us feel comfortable right away. Our room was spotless, air-conditioned, and very well maintained. The hotel also offers free parking, which was a great convenience. Its strategic location, just a short walk from the beach, was a huge advantage and added greatly to our relaxing holiday experience. Breakfast was served buffet-style and, although the selection remained consistent each day, it was varied enough to easily create a different and satisfying combination every morning. Dinner, on the other hand, was simply outstanding – a true symphony of flavors, prepared with precision and creativity. The presentation was beautiful, and every dish delighted both the eyes and the taste buds. I would gladly return to this hotel again, and I wholeheartedly give it the highest possible rating.
