Loved everything! Perfect location, spotlessly clean, beautiful and comfortable modern decor, well equipped kitchen. Loved the hot tub and was great to learn that the water is changed after every guest. The owner lives next door and was so helpful at check in and check out, gave us great recommendations for Plitwice Lakes and local restaurants. We stayed in the upper apartment which suited us perfectly, and also got to see the lower split-level which is also great but maybe better suited to more petite and agile people with the sharp stairs. I would 100% stay again and have already recommended to friends!

The host is very helpful. Excellent services. We encountered unexpected snowing, and we do not equip the car with snow tyres or snow chains. She helps to clear up the snow on the slope and also our car. Feel like at home very cosy. Strongly recommend.

The house is new with all comforts. Kitchen fully equipped, perfect bedrooms and super clean. It is located in the Countryside next to Plitvice Lakes, surrounded by nature. You can wake up with the sound of sheeps around and have breakfast in the garden. And one more important thing about the owners. We forgot a phone in the house and they sent it back to Italy without asking to be paid for the cost of the shipping. In two words: nice people.

We liked everything. The spacious apartment is well maintained; clean and had everything we needed. The bedrooms are large, the beds are comfortable and there are amazing views over the countryside from every window. The apartment is situated within reasonable distance of Plitvice lakes, and there are also a couple of supermarkets within 5 miles. Hosts were pleasant, helpful and charming. We had a lovely day and thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

You really need several days to visit what that place has to...

You really need several days to visit what that place has to offer. Don’t miss the Spelaton center and Barać caves. We been on Barac Traill race and the organizers really do the best of them. Also don’t miss the fast food in rakovica on road by the Apartment green park with delicious burgers.

We stayed here primarily to visit Plitvice national park but...

We stayed here primarily to visit Plitvice national park but the area was beautiful, a complete contrast to the Croatian coastline. It felt very Austrian in influence with chalet style houses, lots of green countryside and flowers. It was also a lot cheaper to eat out and buy coffees/ice creams than on the coast. Plitvice was incredible (although v hot and busy in August). I would like to go back at a quieter time as there were long queues to get on the boats which was not ideal in the heat with children. It was a shame that there is nowhere you are allowed to swim as we would have enjoyed the opportunity to cool off!

One of the most beautiful place I ever went.

One of the most beautiful place I ever went. There are great restaurants nearby with very good and authentic food! The apartament has everything but a washing machine for laundry or any laundry place/dry cleaner nearby.

A great location to get active.

A great location to get active. We did kayaking on the upper river Mreznica - Slunj, which was wonderful. We did this through the Hotel Mirjana&Rastoke, and they were excellent guides. We also visited the Plitvice Lakes for a day and did a great hike around the National Park.

The place is extremely quiet, yet it has everything you need...

The place is extremely quiet, yet it has everything you need for a short stay: places to eat, a well-stocked supermarket, bakery, pharmacy, post office... It's an excellent base for visiting the Plitvice Lakes, which are just a few minutes' drive away.

A small village near the Plitvice Lakes, home to a handful...

A small village near the Plitvice Lakes, home to a handful of quaint bistros serving meat sandwiches and excellent beer. Nearby is Rastoke, a beautiful village of mills and waterfalls, where you can swim in a designated area on the river. The kids had a blast diving from the diving boards and playing on the inflatable mattresses already set up in the river bend.

The location was really good! The Ranch looks really beautiful in the winters as well! All facilities were similar to a hotel! Really polite host. Highlights are the animals on the farm. Really friendly.. Had a very authentic ranch experience with the wood fire heaters. Really huge rooms!
