The staff could not do enough for you, we had 10nights which allowed time to completely unwind. Stari~Grad the closest tow is gorgeous also. The Maslina pool is a great place to chill as are one of the private lounges on the beach.

The owners are excellent host not just for the house bur also to the island. They are honest hard working people who love the island and what they do. I referred to them for all information I needed and their answer was always so right. Our stay would not have been the same without Apartment Suljic and Azra and her dear husband. The house is clean and spacious, it gives you confort and privacy. It is located in the Old Town near all the beautiful beaches but also not far fron Hvar Town. You can have a full experience of Hvar at Apartment Suljic at a reasonable price.

Very friendly hosts, I could even wash my clothes without being charged. The apartment was clean, cosy, fully equipped and had a little balcony. Totally loved the rain shower in the bathroom. The location of the apartment is ideal, in walking distance both to the center of Stari Grad and the ferry port.

Not for everyone. Don't go there if you like noise, night clubs, loud music and so, If you look for calm and silent place - it might be your golden target. We love that place - both from the sea side (as skipper) and land (as tourists). We will be there back again if only we can.

First trip to Croatia, and glad we chose Hvar Island. Stayed walking distance outside Stari Grad, picked location as quieter than Hvar town. In hind sight would stay first few days in Stari Grad and finish stay in Hvar town to be closer to port. Both Stari Grad and Hvar town have beautiful architecture and well worth a trip in the shoulder months

Looking nice, but strange that after 23h everything is...

Looking nice, but strange that after 23h everything is sleepy....restaurants and caffes are closed after 23h, and shop is working till midnight. No fun at all in the evening, but nice beaches and pine trees around. Restaurants in general are disappointment, overprized, with low quality of food.

A wonderfully walkable and friendly place, with a rich history and vibrant atmosphere. At any given time there are small vessels moored from around the world, alongside the picturesque wharf lined with outdoor cafes and gelatories. Wandering through the historic centre at blue hour is a memory we will never forget.

Good location as a base.

Good location as a base. All the great beaches are closer to Stari grad. City of Hvar is definitely the nicest but cities like Jelsa, Vrboska and ofc Stari grad are having their own charm. Speaking of restaurants in Stari hrad, I would recommend Barba Luka. One of the greatest fish meals I had so far...and staff is excellent. Prices are higher but restaurant is also on higher level than others.

It's quiet but still full of action.

It's quiet but still full of action. A lot of restaurants with different dishes and different kind of music. Some even with live musicians. There is a great plaza in the city covered with micro-blazes that shoot tiny drops of water producing refreshing fog. Kids loved it. Big sidewalk along the sea allows for great night walks. The city beach is fairly nice, clean water and normally crowded. Great vacation for family with kids. Perhaps not so good for partygoers.

It was a lovely place, fabulous food but all of Croatia is so expensive. Breakfast is EXCEPTIONAL. Love the flexible half board but cocktails etc cost same as at home. The meals are lovely though. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Shower is tiny so that was quite funny - a friend we met told us he had to get out to put soap on then get back in to rinse as he couldn't move his arms in the shower 🤣 but the rooms are clean and the beds comfy.

Great artsy place with walking distance to centre. Plenty of parking and supermarket close by. The place is worm, clean and has eco friendly touch. The air is filled with soothing scent of lavander which is authentic to the island of Hvar adding a unique charm to the experience. I highly recommend this stay in a 300 year old house, beautifully renovated. Amazing host.

Lovely spot, well maintained. Hosts were extremely helpful. They picked us up at the ferry and also drove us to Hvar Town. House was really pleasant for our group. We loved sitting in the beautifull garden, the bbq, pool and jacuzzi. And it is an easy walk to Stari Grad.

I've been coming to Hvar for some time now, and this has been one of the best stays I've had. Amazing house, quiet location, exceptional hosts (we've tried their olive oil and wine, and are bringing some back with us), and perfect terrace. I intend to return, for sure :)
