Right on the waterfront and close to a little beach. Lovely quiet little fishing village with a fantastic restaurant 15/20min walk or 2 minute drive. We only stayed one night but would love to come back again! Davor very kind, helpful and friendly

Very nice house in a garden with a beautiful terrace on top and a beautiful view over the city. Both, city and nature are very near and it has despite its size all you need: kitchen, bedroom, bath-and living room! Very welcoming owners and a quiet location inside the city walls.

Everything was perfect. The location, the hosts, the room. Everything was close by, restaurants and the main tourist attractions. There is even fresh and delicious tomatoes ready to grab for the guests. The hosts cats were very friendly as well. They were helping us with informations how to get a morning city bus to Dubrovnik.

We loved Ston! The little town and the wall walk were awesome. We loved our location and the restaurant was delicious! Our room was very good. All the people in the town that we met were wonderful and many people helped us out when our car broke down. We had a great time!

Ston was an interesting place to break up the trip from...

Ston was an interesting place to break up the trip from Split to Dubrovnick. It was a disappointment as far as the oysters were concerned, being the oyster center for Croatia. They were just extremely expensive and there were no deals to enjoy them at a decent price. If we had more time we would have gone to an island instead...

We really enjoyed our time in Ston, it is nice and small, yet full of amazing history and things to do. The hike up the wall of Ston to Mali Ston was great and not too difficult. Beautiful sights from the top!

I incorrectly mentioned that it was an old Bari, when, in fact, I meant mali Ston was in a nice quiet section of mali ston definitely would visit again, and Marita was an amazing hostess, couldn’t say enough about her and the accommodations excellent

Historic town with impressive (and impressively long) walls.

Historic town with impressive (and impressively long) walls. Ston is a much smaller, calmer, quieter, and more authentic version of many of the overly touristy walled old towns along the coast. Large sections are still not renovated however. The town has a few shops but mostly cafes/restaurants and locals housing. Lacks the luxury shops and glitz of Dubrovnik but also the crowds. A bit overpriced to walk the walls but presumably the entry fee helps with further repairs and restoration. The (still) working salt flats are interesting and they have opportunities to join in the harvesting. The city parking lots outside the walls are all paid which seems shortsighted and silly if they really want to bring in tourism.

history, great local wine and food, clear blue sea and no crowds; vacation as it should be :) the area is famous for oysters and mussels and many restaurants serve them from their own farms; not to be missed; the hike over the city walls (connecting Ston and Mali Ston) offers great views over the area, oyster farms, salt panes and isles...on both sides of the wall hike are very nice restaurants offer freshest sea food and light, local wine - just what you need on a hot day

Everything was beyond expectations. Staff were friendly, helpful, and enthusiastic about the surrounding area so that we had lots of information as we explored. The hotel is renovated as if it is brand new inside a historical stone house. Extremely clean. Memory foam bed better than at home. Large modern bathroom. Center of old town. They even paid our parking! We will be back. Soon!

We have arrived in the evening and the flat was open with keys inside = entering our accommodation was as smooth as possible. You can park outside opposite the house. The flat has even two terraces so you can spend a lot of time outside with amazing views on Malostonski zaljev. We have arrived very tired and found 4 small Ozujsko beers in the fridge which was kind of a miracle!

Studio Apartment Roza is charming. Situated just out of Ston in a lovely garden setting it provides for a very comfortable stay. The house is nicely set up both inside and outside with a relaxing back terrace looking over a garden and out to the mountains beyond . Ston is only a kilometer away and a new supermarket nearby is handy for shopping.
