Loved the accommodation, it was right in the little town. We had a view of the beautiful harbour from the window. There was a nice shared lounge and shared balcony. We arrived a few hours too early but the hosts didn't mind. The host also let us leave our luggage for a few hours after checking out. Nothing was too much trouble for them, they were a lovely couple.

An absolutely perfect place. Mara is a wonderful person and so welcoming and kind, she made us feel like we were visiting family. The courtyard is so peaceful and the apartment was comfortable and beautifully made. The house is in the nature, few kilometers from Vela Luka (car needed), surrounded by lavender bushes and other herbs, furnished with so many beautiful details, equiped with everything you might need, from kitchen to toilet you have everyrhing, plus presents prepared by the owner (olive oil, wine, small lavender pillows...). There you will find tea, coffee, salt, sugar, oil...as well as lot of towels, toiletaries for women and man... This was the best accommodation we ever rented!

The apartment was very nice, bright and specious for three people.having a washer on site was an advantage when you travel backpack . The location was very good and the water taxi stop was in front of the house. They charge one euro to take you to the other side of the bay or two euro to the Farry. Only two minutes away is a little beach. The best part of the property was a huge balcony that was facing the sea and the Centre of Vela Luka. Amazing place to have coffee in the late afternoon or a glass ( and more) of vine in the evening enjoy the view and music - mostly Oliver Dragojevic!!!

Vela Luka is a hidden gem!

Vela Luka is a hidden gem! It’s not overly touristic, which was exactly the appeal for us. The days are slow and relaxed, the food is delicious, and the people are lovely — it feels like a more authentic side of Croatia. It’s the perfect place to unwind, but at the same time there’s plenty to do. We went scuba diving, spent time at the beach, tried different restaurants, and enjoyed walking around. Honestly, we could have easily stayed at least two weeks just relaxing and exploring the different areas. We were there for 3 days and 3 nights, and it wasn’t nearly enough!

A great little town with much fewer visitors than Dubrovnik for example, a very pleasant town and harbour to wander round with plenty of bars, restaurants and ice cream parlours, easy to get ferries to other islands or just across the bay to a swimming spot.

The place is really nice and very well located.

The place is really nice and very well located. However, the WiFi in our room didn't work during our stay. The people at the management office were diligent in finding a solution although the result was not positive at all. As you can imagine, not having WiFi at all in our room was an unpleasant surprise.

It is a wonderful town with great restaurants and bars.

It is a wonderful town with great restaurants and bars. You can find well-equipped groceries, a drugstore, and everything you need for your stay here. There is a beautiful boulevard by the marina. You can find nice beaches within walking distance. If you have a car, there are plenty of outstanding beaches that you can drive to in less than 15 minutes. Additionally, you can take a boat taxi to visit the nearby, wonderful Proizd Island.

Amazing house, in a nice location far away from the noise of the town. Hypermarket is available in 10 minutes by car. A boat or jetski is worth reserving in advance. Real transformation both for adults and kids... Unforgettable vacation.

Nice little coastal town, with less to see compared to...

Nice little coastal town, with less to see compared to Korčula city. Nice to be based for exploring rest of the island and the island Proizd. Remnants of industrial times when the city was in it's peak are visible throughout. Vela Spila is also a must see.

We loved everything about the Vela Luka and the accommodation. The hotel is directly in the center, guests have free parking. The equipment in the room is beautiful and new, everything was super clean and smelled nice. The view from the room is directly to the sea. We went for a swim to Pičenda beach (several beaches are easily accessible by car) and also took a walk around Vela Spila cave (there are several options from 2km up to 14 km walks).

It was the best Holiday we ever had. Vela Luka is lovely small city with many restaurants, shops, very nice beaches and promenade. It is very good place to stay for 1 or 2 weeks. It is also a very good base to explore Korcula island. Apartament is very comfortable, very, very clean and nice. Our host Dragi was very kind and helpful. Everything was 100% ok and thank you again for a great holiday. We hope to see You next year :)

Good value for the money. Our host was great. Bed is comfortable. We had really nice time in Vela Luka and Korcula island. It is also close to small city beach so you can always have quick swim. Couple of less crowded and wild beaches are relatively close too
