Used as a base for one night as our flight arrived quite late and were travelling on to Slovenia. Great location from airport and couple of shops open late within easy drive for essentials (beer and crisps). Staff were very friendly. Apartment may be the cleanest we've ever stayed in, spotless. Crib provided for our baby. I would book again for our return flight if it was available and it would be lovely for a longer stay. Very peaceful area.

For a one night stop over ideal. I guess as a base for visiting Zagreb would have also been okay but maybe a touch too far from the city. That said it wasn’t too far from a supermarket and a bus stop to get into Zagreb.

Velika Gorica is a cosy town with a selection of good...

Velika Gorica is a cosy town with a selection of good restaurants. I especially recommend the Mexican restaurant. It's not for young people who want to party, as everything seems to close at 9-10PM and in Sundays everthing is closed, even the bakeries.

Stay in this town only if you need to be close to the airport for a very early morning flight. There is a bus 290 which takes you from Zagreb airport to Trg Krestnova which is centrally located in zagreb. Takes 30 minutes and costs 93 cents. Much better option to stay in Zagreb than Velika Gorica, where there is almost nothing to do.

Although it was quite far from the airport, most accommodation was. However, though almost in the countryside, there was an excellent restaurant with 10 mins at Cool Hotel- great food.and wine. A small Aldi store too but very limited choice. Comfy bed, great bathroom walk-in shower, and little balcony. Very quiet after airport curfew. Bonus electrical socket in bathroom (see photo).

We take this hotel because of "free parking" - at the end we paid for parking - and at reception we reserved room to sleep after returning from our trip, but receptionist, because of some concert gave our room to other guests. Very unprofessional- so after 12-hour flight, we did not have room to sleep. Only polite person was driver of the van that take us to the airport.

Located near airport making this hotel perfect for travellers. Good breakfast and if you need a lunch there is restaurant. Within 20 minutes walk you can catch buss towards Zagreb. They have own shuttle service towards airport and they were on time for early transfer.
