One of the best time ever. A wonderful place! It was one of the most peaceful holidays I've ever had. The area was so quiet that when I got home to the city, I had to cover my ears to avoid the noise :) The host - Tonka - if you imagine a host who's helpful, smiling, and doesn't check on you every few minutes, that's Tonka. A dream host. We had everything we needed, and Tonka also sent us extensive information about the area, restaurants, and attractions - all very helpful :) Karlobag, which is a 3-minute drive away, is a perfect little town. It also boasts incredible peace and quiet. If you're looking for peace and quiet, you've found the perfect place. And I'm a little envious if you're planning a vacation there now :) :)

Our stay at the hotel exceeded all expectations! We would especially like to highlight the animator Hugo, who truly brightened our holiday with his energy, enthusiasm, and genuine approach. Our daughter couldn’t wait for the mini disco every evening, which Hugo organized perfectly. We are currently staying at another hotel and can clearly see there is no comparison. The room was great, as were the hosts. My problem with Karlobag, is there is virtually no taxi service available. I arrived to Prizba by ferry. There were no taxis available. I managed to get the convenient store worker there to drive me there for €50. The guy brought me to Karlobag. Fine. But with the big suitcase and a 2nd knapsack, he could have dropped me off in front of the apartment. I struggled with those luggage for about 2 hours oner fairly hilly side roads at 36 degrees heat trying to find the apt. address.What a money grubbing opportunist some of these people in Croatia are. Trying to find a taxi on my way out of Karlobag was another daunting task. I spent most of one afternoon on the internet trying to find a taxi to Gospic. I could not. It’s a small town and nobody wants to be a taxi. So that evening I went to the seafront to look and ask for taxi references. I finally found one from the Tisak employee there, and I made arrangements to secure my ride. Yikes. The apartment itself was great, trying to get there by taxi: horrible.

Appartement was really easy to find, clean and well take care of. A nice and quiet beach within 10 minutes walk, even during high season. Supermarket just a few minutes walk. Owners were helpfull and kind. Thank you for a great 2 nights!
