The hotel is set on the hill in the beautiful town of Buzet - a truly stunning location. Our room was really lovely. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We made use of the free swimming pool (so refreshing after a day out in the sun) and ate dinner both nights at the hotel’s restaurant. The food was delicious!

The villa is fab! It comes with access to a pool Which made the hot days a breeze! We had a car and the carpark was also handy to have. Simple and clean they added bonus of air con made the villa comfortable and cool on hot days. I would stay again for sure!

For many years we have not been so pleased during the holidays. The lady is charming, smiling. Bed linen and towels are changed every 5 days. We lacked nothing. WiFi, air conditioning, perfectly equipped kitchen, parking. There was everything we needed. Perfect cleanliness. A nice place in front of the door for romantic dinners. They allowed our group of 6 to take all 3 rooms on the same floor instead of the other building, I think because we'd been there before and had fond memories of the deck right off that 2nd floor. Our host was wonderful! She made us feel totally at home. The breakfast she provided was excellent. If we get to go to Croatia again, we will definitely stay at the Villa Borgo and enjoy the peaceful beauty of Motovun! I hope we will have our same hostess--she was beloved by all of us!
