The stuff lives nextdoor and it is so helpful and kind. The room is enough big and there is also a small kitchen. The location is realy close to the mainstreet ( by walk 5 minutes ) and to the Tisza Lake beach ( 10 mimutes by walk ). There is also a playground for kids.

A place for all those who are tired of seaside destinations...

A place for all those who are tired of seaside destinations and want to discover inland attractions. Near the largest Central European steppe, the water surface of a vast lake for water fun and bird watching, easy terrain for cycling suitable for trips even for the untrained, aquaparks in bad weather and within easy reach of the Buková Mountains. What more could you want :-)

Quiet place, friendly locals, clean.

Quiet place, friendly locals, clean. The train station is a bit far from the village, but there is a bus. But we were on a bike tour. I can recommend the Czifra Csarda, we had a very delicious dinner. The beach is beautiful! The Olga Guesthouse is excellent, quiet, family-friendly.

The lake shore is surrounded by a bike path.

The lake shore is surrounded by a bike path. There are beaches and small ports from where you can go on excursions. The road near the town is older but there are no dangerous potholes. We made the mistake of eating at Pedro BBQ & Grill because we didn't ask the hosts for advice beforehand. I saw that it was praised on a few pages. Friends and relatives probably gave the ratings.

Unfortunately, we chose the wrong area, we didn't like the surroundings. The Eastern Hungary region will probably not be among our further travel destinations. Abádszalók is interesting because of the Tisza beach, the beach itself is not that good, rocky bed all the way, seaweed everywhere. There is no shady beach for small children where they can play in the mud or sand.

The Lila Akác restaurant is extraordinary.

The Lila Akác restaurant is extraordinary. I recommend it to everyone. It's a shame that the harbor shore is almost surrounded by holiday containers, with their own piers. We saw this from the bike path, it was a shame to allow them, they don't fit there.

We love Lake Tisza, we have previously vacationed in...

We love Lake Tisza, we have previously vacationed in Tiszafüred and Poroszló. This year we chose Abádszalók because my family members like water sports and there are the most opportunities to practice them here. They tried the banana, the jet-ski and we took a boat trip on the lake with a motor boat. The Czifra inn and the Lila akác have excellent cuisine!!! We had fantastic experiences!
