I enjoyed the deer coming in the night in the garden, the park, the Mitteleuropa atmosphere, the very interesting guide to the castle and the cultural depth of the castle's history. To sleep n a place that had been neglected after the war and fallen into disrepair, to come to live again was manificent.

A pearl in the middle of the woods. One of the staff speaks Hungarian, another staff speaks good German and English. Martha, the owner, speaks perfect English. Whatever the language, all were truly very helpful. The restaurant of this hotel is really a must. Martha and her team have with this hotel literally a diamond in their hands. If you like (or need) silence and nature, friendlyness, quality and value for money, then this is the place to be. The rooms are wru clean, spacious, same as the the restaurant. Breakfast really good. With all honesty, 10 points, five stars.

Very quiet spacing, yard, restaurant had a beautiful sight to horse riding arena, that was amazing. And the salad with fried goat's cheese was incredible.

Nice, cosy hotel in the downtown/old town. You could reach everything very easily from there. Perfect hotel for a shoer weekend or for a few days. the breakfast was nice, enough. The bed was a little bit uncomfortable, the mat was not really fix in it. They have big parking space on the hotes courtyard.

Apart from the manor house, there is probably nothing...

Apart from the manor house, there is probably nothing interesting there, but those who like nature can go on a long hike to the Gaja-völgyi tájcentrum! A wonderful place for a picnic, relaxation, and hiking! You need to park in the parking lot: "Gaja-völgyi tájcentrum, Parkoló" and from there the path leads into nature! :)

The place is magical and special, an unconventional hotel...

The place is magical and special, an unconventional hotel with a royal character at a reasonable price. Breakfast was not to our taste, there is an option for dinner, in the evening the food was much better. Internet in the rooms is excellent! In other areas of the hotel it is less good. The hotel guests have a guided and interesting tour of the place. The hotel, which is actually a castle, is located in a very large area and it is pleasant to walk around and explore the area. It is necessary to get to the place with a car, the hotel is isolated and remote… about an hour's drive to Budapest from the east or to Lake Balaton from the west.

The area around Fehérvárcsurgó is full of fantastic and atmospheric excursion destinations. Hiking, forest walks and castle tours can be part of the program in addition to relaxation. The settlement also has high-quality restaurants, pizzerias, pastry shops and grocery stores.
