The accommodation is in a wonderful location, very close to the lake. It is fantastically equipped, with incredibly kind staff who are always ready to help immediately. Despite it being autumn, the heated pool, jacuzzi, and sauna were all operating, and bicycles as well as scooters were available. We were also able to charge our electric car at the type 2 charging station. The rooms meet every need and offer a wonderful view of the lake. We hope to return soon :-)

Great location. Coop across the road. Clean and very homely. We were delayed in customs, but the owner stayed up to greet us and made sure we were settled in. The next day, the owners daughter came around to sort the paperwork out. She spoke very good English and even showed us a local shortcut to the village where we were competing.

    Fonyód was reasonably clean and pleasant town.

    Fonyód was reasonably clean and pleasant town. In places quite smelly, some houses need a bit of love and well kept houses have wildly diverse architecture, but generally the town feels safe and offers a lot of restarurants, ferry service, some water attractions and playgrounds for kids. Be aware though, very very few people (even young) speak foreign language there. What a difference in comparison to Györ in the North of Hungary, where everyone we met in the public areas spoke either English or German on a reasonable level. People are neither unfriendly, nor friendly; I fell like they just don't care about foreign tourists and mostly avoid communication due to a language barrier.

    Nice apartment in a newly built building with direct access to lake Balaton. Well equipped kitchen area, air conditioned living room, small bedroom, seating area in the garden, a jacuzzi in the garden, side view on the Balaton from the garden seating area. It was clean and very quiet as April is off-season at Balaton. Fenced parking space is included. There is a LIDL supermarket within 1 km.

    Quiet holidaymakers' area, close to the local shop and to some restaurants as well as the main attraction - lake Balaton. Cosy summerhouse with all the amenities necessary (fully equipped kitchen, separate toilet and bathroom, well working air-conditioning). Overall nice for those nostalgically recalling 1970s Hungarian reality

    VillaBeach is very close to Balaton lake. No need of walking long distance. Bicycle path close to VillaBeach resort. The owner is very friendly, english speaking and gave us helpful information regarding trips around lake. Garden house for storing 9-10 bicycles. AC in the object. Two bathrooms in ground bloor.

    It’s the perfect location for a safe but fun trip to Balaton. With the outstanding parks, restaurants and lake a short distance from the apartment. Then there’s the train station, allowing you to travel around the lake or to Budapest. Perfect.
